We absolutely adore Cindy! We’ve used several different tax services and had good experiences but decided to try Cindy after an amazing referral and would never consider using anyone else! If you want your "accountant" to be "accountable," this place is not for you.
After my father passed away, I received an inheritance mostly in the form of his retirement accounts. In order to access, I had to close them. Before doing that, I asked Cindy if I would need to pay anything. I asked her in TWO different occasions just to make sure. She said that I would not owe anything. When tax time came up, I gave her the required forms and only after she did the taxes, she told me what I would owe. My heart sunk. She said that I was going to owe (more or less) $26,000 (my Lord, did she forget to carry the 2)? When I reminded her of what she told me, she said that I had to pay taxes on it as income even though I had specifically asked and she said no. This wrecked me and my wife. We had plans to help my wife's mother with medical issues and my wife was going to travel to see her next week. Not only can we not do that, we are going to be in financial trouble for years to come.
My wife spoke to her on the phone and my wife asked her how we are supposed to pay for this. Cindy told her to put it on a credit card. Yes, you heard that right, a credit card. Insult added to injury.
How often do you wake up one day and find out that you now have a debt of $26,000? The worst part, is that Cindy will not admit the mistake. It's somehow our fault that we didn't know. She even complained to my wife that I had sent her a late text because she refused to answer my previous text (cause apparently it's all about her. My God the ego).
You know what Cindy? You can text me at three in the morning for the next ten years and I will happily suffer through the massive inconvenience of hearing a "beep" and you can pay our $26,000.
How often do you inherit something? This was the first and only time for me so I asked my accountant. I trusted her with a sizable portion of our future and got burned worse than any other financial situation in my life. If you can't trust your accountant with your inheritance, whom can you trust?
If she doesn't make a mistake on your taxes, you may well have a good experience. But if she does, just remember, she will not acknowledge it and it will be your fault. And you won't know what it will cost you until it's too late.

We have used Griffith Tax service for several years and we have been nothing but pleased. Nobody cares for tax time, but these gracious ladies get you through it. I don't know how they handle the stress as they do, but they are always kind. Sometimes you may take a hit because of our government making changes but you have to remember they are not magicians and have to abide by the law. Thank you Cindy and Bobbie!

We basically paid for a CPA assistant to screw us over on taxes. Instead of helping us Cindy made matters worse. All she focused on was numbers at time of service instead of the longterm we already stressed concerns about! DO NOT USE THIS TAX SERVICE IF YOU'RE MARRIED FOR SURE!!
