This team of Care Managers is outstanding! Lana, Allison, Lindsay, and Maggie have all worked with several of of in-home clients over the past 4 years, and they have proven themselves as exceptionally caring, competetent, and available. When our clients only have family out of town or they need someone to help manage all the different doctors and areas of care, GPS is our go to. Lana is the owner, and she is in it for the right reasons. This is a company you can trust.

Lana Kepler was on the referral list provided by the Alzheimer's Association as an excellent Geriatric Care Manager (GCM) in Sarasota County. My brother and I spoke at length with Ms. Kepler about our situation that involved very complicated family dynamics surrounding our elderly mother and our six siblings with strong competing opinions involving her care. Ms. Kepler explained the role of a GCM and provided excellent advice going forward. We were unable to retain her services because another family member holds a financial power of attorney. That family member retained another GCM; however, the GCM is prohibited from acting as a professional buffer in any family dynamics. It is very unfortunate that my brother and I could not retain the services of Ms. Kepler, as she would have been a fantastic GCM for our family. I tried to involve the Hospice Social Worker to facilitate a meeting among her, my mother, and me, and my sister refused to allow the Hospice Social Worker to be involved in a meeting.

I strongly believe based on my conversation with Ms. Kepler, that the problems that have arisen would not have occurred had my sister retained Ms. Kepler, in her full role as a GCM.
