I just received a call from a recruiter from this staffing agency (ERGINC/YOH). He didn't even give his name and was very cold and rude right off the bat. He asked me compensation expectation and I was telling him I get a TC of X amt, he was like "tell the base", I responded "May I know if the company offers any bonus/stocks, as my base expectation will depend on that". He SNAPPED and YELLED at me telling "This is not gonna work, I asked something simple & you keep asking me questions back, why can't you tell what I ask, companies don't give all that info to us, they will give whatever they want as bonus/stock, how are we supposed to know" he kept going on like this in a rude & loud voice.

I was just taken aback and didn't even know how to process/respond for the way I was spoken to. I was very shocked. I just blurted some number & wanted the conversation to end soon. He said it's not gonna work and cut the call. There was no "Hello, please, may I, thank you" or any such words even once. After the call was over, it took me ten minutes to process how I was treated on call. I have spoken to hundreds of recruiters recently and never have I been treated this way once. In this current economic situation, an individual looking for a job has so many emotional & financial difficulties that they are battling with. The last thing needed is to be treated like this! This just pushed me to the edge.

I don't know if anyone from this company will even read my review, but I just wanted to document to let the company know that this is not the way anyone should be treated. I hope this person was just having a bad day and I was the unlucky one to get his frustration on call. Thanks for reading.
