I just had to stop and take the time to spread the great word about West Financial Group. Arthur West (Skip) is amazing! I found West Financial Group by researching the best financial planner near me. West Financial Group, The Villages, was at the top. Upon meeting Skip, I can tell you he is extremely knowledgeable and loves helping others with the wisdom he has earned over the years in this business. He was interested in having the best possible outcome for my retirement funds. I was blown away with all the investments without losing a dime. Skip was reassuring and provided all the documentation I needed to make an informed decision. I was excited to see the positive impact of switching our finances to West Financial Group. Skip is the best financial planner I ever met! His office staff is hand-picked by Skip; likewise, they are amazing! They are experts at making chocolate chip cookies! I was so excited to tell my husband about this wonderful experience with West Financial Group. He wanted to meet Skip and reconsider his retirement investments, as well. It was quite surprising to be informed by Skip my husband could easily make withdrawals without reducing any principal. We were never informed. Skip immediately started the process. All I know...without a doubt...Skip is a Godsend to me! I wish someone would have spread the word about what is out there. All planners are not the same. I have known West Financial for about a year now. I went to one of the seminars and then decided to hear more details in his office. Sklp is the sole owner of this group. He is not paid by the client but is paid by the insurance company. I found Skip knowledgeable and kind and most importantly Honest! We looked at all my Financial avenues and some he said to change but most he honestly said to leave alone. He is not money hungry. He wants what’s best for his clients. The best part is Skip really looks out for you, more than any financial advisor I have ever had. I am very happy we joined his group and he is truly a blessing to have as my financial go-to guy.

yes, Skip is absolutely fabulous. His service is unsurpassed and he’s very knowledgeable and will walk the uninformed through his rationale for his recommendations that makes it very clear and concise and he’s just great. additionally, he has a phenomenal staff that is very accommodating and they make great cookies.

Just received an "invite" for a financial planning seminar from West Financial Group located on Rt 44. My parents had used them for years. When settling their estate last year, West Financial Group ignored multiple phone calls and two in-person visits to discuss the types of financial instruments my parents had. Very disappointed. I would also suggest a quick google search of Skip West. Caveat Emptor!
