Grand architecture. Clean facility. Easy-to-follow signs. Even it was my first time to be here and there are quite a few different transportation systems mixed, I don't have a problem to find my way around.

They need to put a charging station for cellphones or some where you can charge your cell phone Starbucks is right next-door but they don’t allow charging your cellphones anymore and there’s nowhere to sit in Starbucks they took out all the chairs lots of police and sheriffs all over and yo can’t sit at the station anymore unless you have a ticket don’t be afraid to asked to sit there if you’re waiting to pick up someone you are allowed to sit there if you have business there but the signs they have in front scare most people away and no one even asked the security if they can sit there while they’re waiting for a family member or friend to arrive at the terminal as long as you are conducting business you are allowed to sit in the chairs what the sign says you must have a ticket it is a little confusing to most people I think they did this to deter away so many homeless people that are basically living in the chairs. But the every day customers should not have to suffer due to a homeless problem and unfortunately these people have nowhere else I guess to sit where they can be inside , so don’t be afraid to exercise your rights as a citizen and asked to sit in the chairs if you need to sit for a few minutes while waiting for someone or if you are tired and you just need to sit for a few minutes because you just got off the train, I’m sure the security will allow you to sit for a few minutes. Lots of homeless people at the station. One things for sure you can get a good hot cuppa coffee at Starbucks there’s also a little convenience store with great coffee and vanilla cream and there’s another shop right across from the doors on the side that have the hot coffee also. They have several restaurants also you can eat a nice meal and done it to spend a lot of money there’s also a subway there and you can get a cheap sandwich and the little store has sandwiches and food and drinks and everything also at a good price. They do have public restrooms and you also find a lot of homeless people in the restrooms don’t take the train late at night because they close the restaurants by 9 PM sometimes a little bit later the station does close down completely by 1 AM and you will be stranded if you’re stuck there at that time and you will not be allowed to sit in the chairs and wait for the next train if you do not have a Amtrak ticket. maybe restrictions also on your ticket where you may have to travel within two hours so check with the station to find out what the regulations are they are very strict on who sitting in these chairs you would think that these chairs were only for our president not for every day people. I know they’re trying to control the situation of the homeless people but one thing I think they forgot is that everybody is tired when traveling.

Great place to park and take the Dodgers Express Bus to Dodger Stadium. After the game the bus brings you back to Union Station. Terrific way to avoid the confusing Dodger Stadium parking lot.
