Joshua was great to work with! He was very helpful right from the start explaining how it all works and our options, and without it sounding like a sales pitch! Unfortunately we were unable to use his services as the business in question was not viable to sell. He was able to provide a clear explanation that helped me feel confident that this option for the business was fairly evaluated. If you are looking to sell your business I definitely recommend calling & asking for Dawn and/or Josh. I called them in a pinch looking for help selling our newly launched business. I didn’t think I would find any brokers willing to help because the business was so young. Not only did they agree to help, they found us a buyer on the first day, and we closed on the sale in 2 weeks. They have an amazing network they were able to leverage quickly to help us. Nice people, very friendly on the outside with hints of insincerity but not a business anyone with a medium or large size company should look into selling their business with. We were full of questions through the whole process and felt we were not informed like you would expect when you are paying a 6 figure commission. Our attorneys were surprised that so much was not being taken care of throughout the process and mentioned that several additional expenses came from duties that should have been preformed by the broker. Their attention was solely with the buyer (not paying the commission) and basically took a back seat and let the attorneys handle most the work. We signed the paperwork on a Friday and heard from them after our signing (in which they were not present) to make sure we signed the contract and after the buyer signed their paperwork on the following Monday and the sale was final we heard nothing from them, only crickets. No Thank You. No Congratulations, No Nothing.
We found that insulting, unprofessional and unfortunately, it was not surprising to us.
5 Weeks later we still have never heard from them. (crickets)
Transworld is a company I wish we would have vetted better and especially the branch in Ocala that we dealt with.
Looking at the bright side, they did find us a buyer and for that, we are thankful.
