As a continuous TUG member for over a quarter century, I can attest to the high value of this membership. There is no other location on the Web which provides access to such a large and diverse number of owners (or others interested in REAL timeshare information). A large percentage of TUG members are willing to continuously post information from their personal experiences, to share what they know and what they have learned, so others can benefit from the information. TUG is a priceless resource to offset the well-deserved negative impressions about timeshare among the general public. Many have been burned (and continue to be burned). But taking the time (using TUG) to learn the pitfalls AND positives, you can reduce the risk of getting burned, once you decide to take the jump. And if you have done your homework properly (using TUG), you, too, can benefit from the high value of being an owner. TUG is the number one source for all your timeshare questions and research. Many years ago my DH and I attended many timeshare presentations. Mostly it depended on what they gift was to sit through the talks. We eventually purchased a timeshare for $1.00 on eBay in Sedona. We have yet to stay there but have enjoyed exchanging it. I have been using TUG since first buying a timeshare in 2004. This group is extremely focused on helping you get the most out of any timeshare you own. Whether you bought from the developer or acquired your week(s) cheaply or even free the advice offered will help you utilize what you own. There is no shame in asking questions on anything timeshare related. The forums are free but joining TUG is the best $15 ever spent if you are interested in great vacations at awesome prices.
