I wish you could give negative stars. I have been having tax issues for years that I have been being told were being taken care of. Then when calling last week to talk with the owner. Sara tells me to quit calling the office as I have been told to get a Tax Advisor. Which is not what the Owner Lisa has told me. Sara then proceeds to tell me well get ahold of the owner in another manner and quit calling. She has given me my documents back and done her part.
I had always believed Lisa and her team were going to take care of the on going issues and what not and would always get back to me. But Sara never called me back when she said she would never followed up.

I have been doing my taxes with H&R block for the past 5 years. But I came across Sara Peterson at Liberty Tax and I was blown away. She is professional and highly intelligent. She know what she is doing! I will absolutely continue to do my taxes with her from here on out.

These people sent our state taxes to the wrong state and will not fix it. They entered our social security numbers incorrectly for two different years (they got a different person's socials wrong on each year) and blamed the year long hold up of our tax returns on the IRS. We confronted them multiple times over the months (they told us the numbers were all right) before WE went through and found the error. After that they lied on multiple occasions about sending in the corrected tax papers when they had not yet done it. They also refused to answer our calls or call us back when they said they would. On one occasion, while we were trying to get things straightened out, layed out in front of me I noticed important documents with names and social security numbers of other clients facing my direction! I pointed this out to the person working with me, Darla, and she acted like I was being rude to her, saying, "well, I was working on that."
NEVER EVER EVER GO HERE. I wish we didn't. We are still dealing with the ramifications of that decision. I would trust a random person on the street with my taxes more than I would ever trust Liberty Tax again.

EDIT: The response they posted is a lie but for some reason I can't respond. Really, guys? You don't remember working with us for a YEAR? Shameless.

Edit 2: It looks like they deleted their reply which was that I never did my taxes with them. Even in this review page they are being shady.

Office full of unprofessional and inexperienced staff. I traveled there about a week and a half ago provided my documents to have my amended 1040 X corrected the tax preparer had my taxes placed in multiple hands with in the office and it took about a week for the information to be provided back to me only for it to be incorrect. All supporting documents including taxes as well as information that was missing from the amended tax return. All information including transcripts were provided the tax preparer. Alice told me that she inputted the information that she was told to you and that she is actually not a tax prepare when she’s the one in the office preparing peoples taxes when I raised a big deal about the issue Alice told me to stop by and she would have it fixed when I stopped by the location she was heading out the door and left me with the only person in the office Kirk who decided to go out and smoke a cigarette and stead of taking care of my issue. An hour later still no correction of my taxes or an apology. All they’ve done was place blame when they are the ones that are the experts at their job. In my opinion if any information is missing that should be communicated. At no point should a tax preparer prepare information knowing that information is missing and then point the finger when an audit comes up. First experience going to who I thought was a professional and the last. I am better off doing it myself. I advise all military personnel to steer away from this location.

I recommend anyone that ya'll do not get your taxes done with Liberty Tax as I stated before Lisa did my taxes notified her the first time I started getting letters sent to me and she said she will fix it and now my checks are being garnished and I still have not been able to get in contact with her so I got to pay for her mistake so save you guys a headache and money don't file your taxes with them

This review is a response.
I gave all the information that was asked of me. If you looked at my file you could of seen where she made the mistake. I I notified her and those at that office what was going on every time I got a letter and their response was they can amend taxes that only she could but she was never in the office.. The liberty tax off of circle you can connect them because they fixed it not her and the lady was able to show me where the mistake was made.. Thank you try again

We have had our taxes done at this site for three years. This year- since they got the new owner, Kurt, their customer service and quality has gone down. Kurt actually told me twice he’d refund what I paid them. Lied both times. I’m glad I wasn’t holding my breath.

They were called on at least two separate occasions and told to resubmit our taxes- they never did. They said they were waiting on documentation showing my daughter’s taxes were updated. They didn’t receive it because she ended up submitting it herself because no one but the person who did her taxes could access them to sign. And she was never there.

I am challenging their accuracy and they refuse to provide me with information on what I need to do to challenge them. Kurt claims they only get a response
I’ve called theee times today, they’re suppose to open at noon, and no one has answered. from the IRS if your taxes are submitted successfully. But nothing if they are rejected. Interestingly, two years ago, we had a similar incident and were called the next day and told what we needed to do.

Brittany was awesome. She was prepared, and she was incredibly busy. She was the only one there, and did a great job hustling between people coming in the door. She listened, answered my questions. I will ask for her next year if she is there.

I had preparer Darla review my taxes after struggling to believe we owed so much money. She reviewed everything and helped include what the previous preparer (from a different business) missed. She was kind, professional, and I will have her do them again.
