Kellen was so helpful to us as first-time homebuyers! After reaching out to a few realtors on Zillow, we really connected with Kellen and decided to work with him in summer/fall 2020. He was great at explaining every step of the home-buying process — from how offers and contingencies work, to what utilities we had to set up to make sure everything was ready on move-in day. We first meet Anita at a listing that was way out of our price range. Anita was friendly and engaging without being pushy. We were just starting our buying journey and didn't have much experience. We tried working with another agent when we thought our geographical range was a bit wider, but once we realized that we wanted to stay in Alameda (and after talking to other agents) we quickly picked up the phone and got Anita on our team! Anita was everything we could have asked for and more. We met Anita while we were just "casually" looking at open houses. Two months later (do the day!) we were getting the keys to our home. As first time homebuyers, we were completely overwhelmed by the prospect of buying a house. She is kind, professional and patient, and helped us each step of the way, even after closing. I met Anita from a casual open house in Alameda. She then asked for my contact information and we met up soon after. We instantly connected and ended up talking for hours! My father and I have been looking here and there for a over a year now but never really serious as we were in no rush to buy and were rejected from previous offers. Also because I was super nervous about buying a home. Feeling discouraged, Anita came at the right time. Anita isn't pushy at all but yet very attentive. She answered all my questions and dealt with all the back and forth between my father and I. We all know how crazy our Asian parents can be. Anita was able to filter out between what we wanted vs what we could afford. After a couple months, I can't believe our offer got accepted and here I am, single-mom home owner. I'm very grateful to have met Anita! She was there every step of the way, I highly recommend her!

As a foreigner, and first time buyer, it is really hard to find someone to trust will help you to make the best decisions. If this is your case (and even if it is not), Kellen is the right guy for you! He helped me to feel confident during the whole process of finding my house in Alameda. He was respectful, insightful and gave me advise on how to handle such a competitive market. He is pretty knowledgable on how to manage the whole process of biding for a property and is the perfect negotiatior. His recommendations are gold nuggets (specially when it came to the shelter-in-place limitations) and on top of that he has great tips for dog-parents. I am really excited about just moving in to my dream-house so I highly recommend his service!

It was our first time buying a home at the start of the 2021 year. (it's a competitive market rn) Throughout the process, Anita was always professional and gave insightful advice. She really put in the effort to get to know us, our wants, and our needs. That's saying a lot because we went in with one thing and changed what we were looking for every week as we saw more houses. The constant change of wants didn't shake Anita though, she got to know us and showed us an area we didn't even consider. She absolutely nailed it with that suggestion. That would never have been possible if she wasn't putting in the effort to know who we were. We never once felt pressured by her to buy a house, it was always us first. If you're a first-time home buyer and need a guide, Anita is it!!! If you're not a first-time home buyer, she's just so great to work with, she's still it!!! We don't miss the stress and anxiety as we're waiting for the result of a bid but we definitely miss house hunting with Anita. She really makes the whole experience enjoyable
