Where to begin....do you need to put your adult pants on and do the things she says....yes. Jennifer...🤔....if you are searching for someone that will genuinely sit down with you and go over things...she is it. Boy I've asked her so many questions (by email/phone) and not once has she ever got frustrated with me, I've asked some dumb questions. Someone asked me one time what does help look like....Jennifer Knudsen is what help looks like. Her office is safe, her office is judgment free, her office is easy going, dont feel like a client I feel like a human being there. Not many things in this world I want to tell the entire world about but her business is one....o wait a minute I just told the world!

On Sept 14, 2020, I received a Notice of Deficiency or rejection of refund claim from the State of Colorado. This was due to my owing the State and not having it filed in time for the July 15th cutoff.

I contacted Jennifer Knudsen (tax preparer) and explained the following:

7/2/20: dropped off taxes
7/13/20: followed up if they would be done in time, was told they might, if not, she would file an extension.
7/22: Taxes were complete, I picked them up and paid her the tax prep fees
7/23: signed docs and returned back to her
7/27: Amount due to State was paid

When i initially asked her about this, she told me that money owed either federal or state was due by April 15th still. This is untrue, as I contacted the State of Colorado and they told me otherwise.

She then changed her tune and said she filed an extension instead but that it did not cover money owed, only taxes filed.

So In asked her, why weren’t they done on or before 7/15? She told me, she was working 16 hour days, she had many clients, and had more excuses where she was not going to help me.

The fact that she lied about the April 15 date, and possible the extension as she was never able to produce, I will never go back here again. I need to have faith and trust in my tax preparer and not somebody who is just going to do a less then subpar job. No thank you.

I will pay the fees that she is responsible for and move on.
