Shortly after starting to work with Laura Murphy and TAB Focused Directions, one of my goals was to work with me and our 12 employees to define our company purpose. We’ve worked on this in different ways in the past, but this time I wanted it to truly be a team effort, for us to collaboratively arrive at a purpose statement that everyone contributed to and everyone stood behind. With her expert guidance our team worked on some exercises over a few sessions on our own, then participated in a half-day workshop facilitated by Laura. The result was a big success and we now have a purpose statement created by the team collectively. The most rewarding feedback came from our newest employee who has been with us for nine months. After the workshop he shared that he now feels like part of the team, is very excited about the direction of the company and that “we get to create our own future”. Wow, that’s a 10!

Very grateful to both Laura and Steve for hosting many meetings in March and April opened up to all business owners in addition to TAB members. They brought together many speakers to help us navigate the COVID-19 challenges helping us to make decisions and create plans to help survive the crises!
