Smekens Education is the perfect culmination of absolutely incredible people behind incredible, research-backed teacher development. At first, seems like a lot of new information, but once you dive into it and plan, you'll love the flow and seeing your students learn. I really like that the team at Smekens is quickly available for questions and they give you EVERYTHING you need to get started! The online resources are great!

This is by far an exceptional conference. As an educator, you will walk away with beautifully prepared materials and resources that allow you to implement comprehension skill lessons on day 1 and throughout the year to teach standards to mastery. Mrs. Smekens is an engaging and amazing instructor. The analogies she uses to teach educators leave a lasting visual reminder of best practices within the classroom. In addition, the online resources provide everything that a teacher needs to further their learning. There are even additional resources to use to aide their instruction.
