Saddle & Surrey Motel - Estes Park, Colorado

Our stay at the Saddle and Survey was really great. The place is relatively strategic to Estes Park. Nearby there was a petrol station so it’s convenient. The room is quite spacious with perfect amenities. They provided TV, microwave, small fridge, kettle, towels, hairdryer, and toiletries. The room is clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to get the breakfast due to tight schedule. Perhaps, it’s our call to come back there again next time. Very pleasant to stay in this motel.

We have stayed at the Saddle for quite awhile. The new owners have kept up the tradition of the previous owners. Great customer service in a family feeling atmosphere. The motel is away from the noise of downtown but still just a short drive for everything. Quiet evenings are a plus

This place was so cute. It was comfortable and clean. All of the staff we interacted with were kind and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good. The location was perfect for the activities we had planned. We would absolutely stay here again!

A pleasant and efficient check-in from the young male staff person.|4 stars and as advertised.|An older facility from the outside but our kitchenette based, king bed room was large, modern enough and very well set up = a 4 burner gas cook top and a microwave, a large fridge and plenty of cooking and eating utensils. |Nice towels too.|The only real annoyance were two near motel neighbours who near chain smoked, 20 feet from our open door / window. My annoyance shown to them was ignored and we had to keep shutting up. Not sure where the designated (if any) smokers area was.

Great location to Rocky Mountain NP which is the reason I chose this place. Felt very safe during my stay and the bed was comfortable. Can’t speak to the breakfast as we did not have any since going to the park early. Staff was very nice and overall I would stay here again.

Very clean. Cozy and comfortable. |Staff was very friendly and addressed any questions we had promptly. |Elk visited several times and made our day to see them so close. Location was nice. Not too far from the downtown area. Very quiet at night.

I liked the hotel. The place was easy to find from the road, parking was easy, check-in was Ok, and the wifi was very fast and reliable. The rooms are not 5-star, but they are bright and presentable. My room had a fridge, iron, microwave, and coffee-makes. The housekeeper came every day to fix the bed and restock the towels. The location is very good for this price: Rocky Mountain National Park isn’t too far.

Our stay at the Saddle and Surrey Hotel was good. The room was cozy and clean, and the beds were comfortable and well-maintained. However, one area that could be improved is the availability of power outlets. The room had only a couple of outlets located between the pillow and the wall, which was not a very convenient location. Additionally, there were not enough outlets to charge multiple devices such as watches, phones, iPads, and power banks.

Another concern was the noise from the air conditioner and the fridge. Both were quite loud. We had to unplug the fridge to be able to sleep and didn’t use the air conditioner.

Despite these issues, I can say that this place is a good option for a stay.
