I want to acknowledge Susanne Robert and her team at Robert & Associates for their contribution to the Evergreen community and support for local nonprofits. Susanne has and continues to volunteer in various capacities over the years with the Evergreen Chamber, Mountain Foothilld Rotary, Boogie Benefits, and advising local nonprofits. Robert and Associates sponsors many charitable events to enable nonprofits to get the word out about their missions. They don't only provide money, though. They actively participate in community events, like the Chili Cook-off. Susanne and her team at Robert & Associates are an asset to our community.

Susanne is a wonderfully established CPA in our mountain areas. As a banker, when customers ask for advice, her firm is the first one I give as a reference. She only hires the best, and I know that her associates give the same thorough care that she has built her business on. I had used Susanne for 3 years. My 2021 tax year was the last. I'm self employed and try to keep my costs down as well as get the best possible tax benefits. When completed my tax liability was the same as the year before even though I made less and had more deductions. I expressed my concerns several times about whether my deductions were all accounted for and was told everything was correct. Well that was not correct as the IRS found an error that saved me $1300! Not to mention her rates more than doubled and cost me $750. She said this was because she was short handed which didn't seem right since I felt the level of service was not the same. I let her know about the error and never received so much as an apology.
