While the post says John Smith, Patricia Fremont Smith is writing this review. John and I are clients of RETEVO; we are in total agreement about this business and how it's run. We do have different points of view about the exact aspects and quality of service they offer. As a woman, and one who never spent much time in the work force, I look for an approach that is inclusive of feminine interests and values. While not "in charge" of our finances presently, I expect equal treatment when in a financial planner's office and elsewhere. The RETEVO team extends beyond my present needs, but I rely upon knowing that the Women's Planning and Health Insurance divisions are there for me. The staff is unified by family and life long friends, and their discipline, proficiency, and care in their working together create a solid ground for fair treatment and trust to continually grow stronger. I am deeply grateful to know that as the years tick away I am "covered," and a part of a business that values clients first and that offers so much in return to them.

We received an invitation to a Retirement Evolution seminar. The day before the seminar, they left a voicemail confirming our attendance. When I returned the call (just 3 hours before the seminar), I was told my husband couldn’t attend as he was a State Farm Agent. When I asked why we were sent an invitation, I was told it was for people who were near retirement or in retirement. We are near retirement, and looking at all retirement options available. Evidently this company feels we are not candidates for their presentation (much less their products) and were “uninvited” based on my husband’s profession. For Retirement Evolution to deny people in the same industry, who are looking at all retirement options, is completely unprofessional. This is inexcusable business acumen at best and discriminatory at worst.
