After using ACH to take HOA dues for 3 months, they stopped without notice. I contacted my HOA twice about the issue and they said they were looking into it. I finally paid the HOA, but then I received a letter from this accounting firm threatening to sue me. I never received any other notice and had contacted my HOA board about this issue. Extremely poor business practice.

In my experience, this accounting office is woefully inept to the point of causing harm to its customers. As both a resident and a Realtor, I live and work in the Shores of Long Bayou condo community where Richard Commons' office handles the finances for most of our buildings. My husband, our condo building association treasurer, has expressed ongoing frustration that our association's bills are not paid on time by this office, nor do they provide the invoices. From this month alone I can provide 3 examples of their outrageous incompetence: one client of mine sold her unit with an unusual 60+ day period between contract and closing--twice as long as typical--and this office still could not provide the requested estoppel letter in time for her closing, resulting in a full day's delay which risked her ability to fund the closing of her subsequent purchase, causing undue stress for the seller and for our highly-competent title agent who had to contact this office multiple times for a response. Next, the president of my building association was forced to pay out of her own pocket one of our association's bills so that service to our building would not be shut off, since Commons' office had never bothered to pay the bill which was by then greatly in arrears. Thirdly, another client who sold her unit TWO MONTHS AGO just contacted me from her apartment at an assisted living facility, distressed and confused after receiving a letter from Commons' office demanding she pay her overdue condo fee plus a late fee. They of course have record she no longer owns the condo as they themselves provided the estoppel letter when she closed on the sale and his son's property management company manages this particular building. I cannot recommend this accounting firm that causes such grief to its customers by not rendering expected services in a timely and accurate manner.

This is the worst so far as a accounting firm. This accounting firm took over the “ Coachman Creek Condominium “ last year. Nothing has change. Maintenance fees are going through the roof. Parking lot of tennis court is the drug dealers favorite place. The lady in the office is the worst you can think. Pending lawsuit all over. I won’t recommend this company to nobody

Very attentive, listened and has not helped our Association cut accounting fees they were willing to become familiar with our new cloud based system TOPS One. Highly recommended. Improved our financial reporting time significantly.
