My experience with Martha is one of extreme regret. There’s a level of disrespect that goes along with the dishonesty and deceit. Nothing that she said would happen actually happened and none of the numbers that she gave us added up. Refunds that she said were coming never came and now I in fact owe where’s said I wouldn’t. Trying to contact her via phone or email is pointless because she does not return calls or respond to emails. Since she received payment, which was extremely high I have only been in contact with her once when she said she would look into my complaints and I never heard from her again. I would give zero stars if possible

If I could rate Martha in the negative I absolutely would. We have gone to Martha for years and THOUGHT she was doing a good job until we got audited by the IRS. Martha never returned any phone calls or emails, despite we payed for audit protection. To no surprise we were audited again the next year and still no help. We have had to pay thousands of dollars and to no surprise, Martha has been non existent. And once again we are being audited for the 3rd year in a row and no answers from Martha.Save yourself some headaches and go elsewhere. I work for a state agency and have had numerous coworkers experience the same issues.

Martha has been doing taxes for the past 40 years. I have watched her give so much of herself to this community. Three bouts of cancer and still servicing her clients through her treatments. That is dedication. Not everyone can be pleased, but I am. Covid over the years has hurt many SMALL businesses all over the US. Staffing issues and so forth and we have all had to face that challenge. I have been to restaurants and stores that take longer to service. I but I only give them my patience and understanding. I would never want to put anyone's livelihood in jeopardy by leaving negatively. I never lash out. I've watched people take it out on staff and small businesses for not meeting their immediate needs. It takes a lot of energy to bash a small business, so I won’t. As a matter of fact, I only write good reviews on multiple platforms, because I only leave the best of myself. To take the time to write a negative review says a lot about the character of the customer and in times such as these, we need to spread more compassion and love. I can see that this year has been a challenge for this business but will continue to utilize the 40 years of knowledge and service Martha has shared with the world. Absolutely terrible… I’ve been going here since 2014 and I’ve never had a problem up until this year. I tried calling mostly every day since January and I have not been able to get ahold of anybody. I emailed them and same thing. Finally around March I was able to get ahold of a clerk and she said Martha will give me a call and sure enough, that was a huge lie. Every year the cost of the tax service has gone up as well. Save you’re time and energy, don’t bother with this place.
Update: Got audited twice in a row and still no help from PFS.

GO ELSEWHERE! As of today I am a former client after utilizing this business for several years. I was told my tax filing was submitted through e-file and never was! Unaware of the issue until I received a letter from the state 7 months later accruing late fees and interest. The state doesn’t have a record of the filing nor will Martha accept any accountability to remedy the situation! You would think it’s part of common business practice to assist clients if they’re dissatisfied especially to the extent that I am! I wouldn’t mind paying the expensive fee charged for tax preparations but only if it were stellar service! Save your money and pay a reputable CPA/tax preparer. I should have listened to other former clients who were also burned… this will be followed up to the full extent!

Martha and her staff have always gone above and beyond to help us. Martha is knowledgeable and above all takes the time to listen to each individual situation that we have. Their knowledge and commitment to helping us has continued to be the reason we drive hours to work with her.

Just like others, this year I had the worst experience, I had appointment with Ms. Martha which she canceled and ask me to contact after April 2022. My tax returns were late, no one picks up calls, or return calls. I was threatened to remove my views first then they will do my taxes. Totally unprofessional and unethical. I won’t recommend anyone to go this place.

Horrible!!! Please do not trust these people with your finances! My husband got audited for the year 17 and 18. We dropped off all the letters and documents last year in March and still have not heard anything from her! It's been a year and we have not received even a call to explain what's going on. You would think that for the amount she charges to file taxes she would be able to fix these issues!

Here we are, a year later and I had to call this morning because they will not answer my husband's calls anymore and a lady answered saying "professional tax services" without stating her name. I explained what has been happening and she tells me "they are not open yet, do you want to call after 10". What do you mean they are not open? You just answered the phone!
