We did not have a good experience at all. Big sales pitch, no delivery. It’s basically a database for coaches. We had zero assistance or help from the recruiter. Costs a few grand and we definitely got nothing out of it even after expressing concerns. Even misinformation was sent out. Not one post made for our athlete or about them. Not even after signing which happened completely outside of their recruiting. I would not recommend them to anyone. I wish we had a better experience because what they sold sounded great but then disappeared once the payments came through. Don’t believe them.

**update** I did reach back out after their response and received ZERO response back as expected. Don’t waste your time here

HORRIBLE company!!!!! What a waste of money. You pay for the software and I was told that Roy Fondow, the recruiter would handle sending out promotions ect. NOTHING was set up. My son didnt have a picture uploaded.
We signed in May 2024 and my son got hurt pin his preseason game. He had to have emergency surgery, and Roy, our recruiter had NO idea my son was injured and out ALL season. How do you get a kid recruited when you have no idea that he has not played 1 season game. He had NO idea until I texted him after the season was over.
DO NOT waste your money.

My son joined National Scouting Report in his senior year (we were late in the process). We weren't sure what to expect, but we have been very happy. Don Silk was very helpful and supportive to us. We ended up getting interest from schools that were not on our list and we ended up going with a school that we think it a great fit for my son & he got a golf scholarship! I would recommend this service to others trying to figure out their path forward with golf.

Don reached out to our son, Reid, in the Fall of his sophomore year. Our initial interactions with Don were very personable and Don came prepared to help us understand the recruiting process. The recruiting process can be overwhelming and a lot to navigate, especially as a young athlete. Thanks to NSR and Don’s help, we were able to have a framework and direction on how to be thoughtful through the recruiting process from start to finish.

Don was available at all junctions of the process with helpful tips, guidance, and encouragement. Don not only took the time to support our son, but also us as parents. It felt like a very collaborative process.

Working toward a goal of being a college athlete takes a lot of work and dedication. Working with Don and NSR allowed to us to see this goal is within reach. If your child is looking to take their sport to a collegiate level we would highly recommend NSR’s platform and guidance for recruiting!

Working with Nikki Bowey was a wonderful experience. Her unwavering dedication to supporting softball players, commitment, excellent follow-up skills, and genuine desire for the girls' success are commendable. Nikki made the recruiting process a pleasure, eliminating stress and headaches. I highly recommend Nikki and all the valuable NSR services included with the program; she truly exceeded our expectations.

We’re very happy to report that of the various choices our son had in front of him at decision time, he committed to a great offer from a golf team/college that had contacted him originally through NSR!

Even for parents who are proactive and engaged on behalf of their talented high school athletes, the process can still be quite daunting. Engaging NSR on behalf of our son, a talented and aspiring collegiate golfer, was a great complement to our own efforts.  While we were able to establish connections a variety of schools through our own network, NSR’s platform provided a foundation of contacts in very meaningful volume that we would not otherwise have been able to create on our own. Keep in mind that their digital/web platform still requires engaged, ongoing effort by the athlete/parents—but it does all kinds of things that are very hard to do on one’s own. So as mentioned—not only did NSR help us succeed, it turned out that the final choice that was the best fit for him, came through NSR.

Don Silk of NSR is a passionate expert in collegiate golf, and in student athlete recruiting. Don himself is also a very accomplished golfer, having played at USC, and highly experienced in his approach for getting student athletes matched to the right opportunities.
We’re very glad we made the decision to add NSR to our various efforts, and obviously it made a big difference. We enjoyed getting to know Don along the way as well.

Thanks NSR and Don!

NSR has been a very helpful resource to guide our son and our family through the college golf recruiting process. Don Silk specifically helped provide guidance and knowledge in what to expect and focus on during the NCAA recruiting journey that resulted in 6 D1 golf offers. We are thankful for the support of Don and NSR.

Kevin Shaw and Jaime Mudge were absolutely amazing. They are honest and upfront with athlete's ability. They have guided our family through the recruiting process with nothing but professionalism. We can actually say that we look at them like family. They have talked us off the ledge a few times, as the process has it's ups and downs. They always reassured us to "trust the process" and they guided us through with ease. They are knowledgeable with the recruitment process and they assisted us with my daughter's recruitment to Division 1 Women’s Soccer.
