Captain Micah is the real deal and a great guy to be around in general, he really tries hard and knows how to run a services business, we felt welcome and had a great time on the water with him. His boat is a fishing machine, great hull, great electronics and gear, super comfortable and Micah knows what he's doing, a great fisherman. We fished out of Trinidad for Pacific Halibut, Rockfish, Lingcod and Crabs and we were successful with all species with limits on the Hali's and big Black Rockfish. Freezer stocked! Great Time!

First time fishing for steelhead and it was definitely special. Beautiful spot and got on some great fish. Had a great day and Micah is a fantastic guy to be around. We will be coming back in the summer for an ocean trip and I will be recommending him to any family or friends visiting the area. If you’re wanting to fish in Northern CA or Southern Oregon, give him a call.

Captain Micah took us out for a 1/2 day charter. We had trip full of first for us and we had a spectacular time. We went fishing, we watched Whales, and picked up crab pots. It was all such a adventure and Captain Micah made it so much fun.

What an incredible experience! From the first phone call to the end of the excursion, we were in such great hands, with Captain Micah!
As it being some of our first time fishing on the sea, I felt confident in my choice after speaking to Micah on the phone. He was very knowledgeable and provided great insight.
I felt totally safe with my daughter being aboard, with his attention to detail and care. He was extremely helpful during the adventure and provided awesome tips to help us succeed! He went above and beyond, while also maintaining a safe environment.
Aside from fish, he also offers crab catching!
At the end of the beautiful morning and some good catches, he even skinned/deboned the fish for us!
If you are looking for a wonderful, exciting, and safe charter, I highly recommend Loast Coast Sport Fishing!
Definitely doing this again next time we are up there!

Captain Micah was awesome! We chartered the boat for a half day. We really wanted to catch some lingcod. Micah did his best to put us on those spots and we ended up with two around 20lbs and a few others we hooked into but didn’t land. This was the most fun I have had a on a charter boat in a long time and that was thanks to Micah! We will definitely be booking again.

I’ve been reliably catching fish with Micah year after year on the north coast rivers and oceans. Rest assured: vessel Norwegian Jewel does not disappoint. This is no accident. The captain really knows his stuff in all types of water and across all species of fish. I love thinking back to the variety of monsters we have landed in the last 8 years… unforgettable. His devotion to and respect for habitat as well as for the Daily catch will always inspire. Teach a man to fish he will eat for a lifetime, this guy is out here sharing his knowledge every day. Micah runs a great business! He is a honest and experienced captain and we had an amazing experience on his boat! We limited on halibut and rockfish with one halibut upwards of 50 lbs! Micah has respect and local knowledge about the different fisheries, as well as the patience for anglers of all skill levels. We had a great day on his boat and highly recommend him!
