Shane was very easy to work with. He responded quickly after I left him a message. He was able to fit me in promptly. He texted when he was on his way. He went right to work to solve my problem and gave some valuable advice regarding certain apps and programs that were preferable or not. He communicates well and doesn't use tech jargon. His price was fair. He made it easy and pleasant! I will definitely call him when I need help again.

Shane was recommended by my sister,so I gave him a call. He answered right away and we made an appointment for the next day. He was prompt and dressed neat, always a pleasant surprise these days. I let him know where the corpse was ( I was working at my computer and it crashed) he got to work on it right away. I had thought it might be the hard drive but he was not so quick to point fingers. A series of unplugging the different items, mouse, keyboard then monitors and external hard drive. He powered the computer down and started it up again and “wow” I had my home screen again, I was so happy. He found the problem in short order. He is also very easy to talk to!

Technology is designed to make tasks easier for we people who do such tasks. But as technology grows, and we age, it seems to get increasingly more difficult to understand. When I couldn't manage to connect my new HP printer, to the Wi-Fi and after a few hours of me becoming more and more confused I decided to call for help. That sparks a new anxiety for an older person: letting a stranger into your house. I bit the bullet and called Shane at . Lofgren IT Consulting. It was a tasty bullet. He arrived on time, was clean and polite and non scary in appearance. I should have called him in advance of my purchase and he might have recommended that I buy a different printer. But he dove right in and stayed with the problem installation with patience, explaining everything in a way that I almost understood. And when he left, I was left with the ability to be sitting out in my patio, take a picture of a bird at the feeder, and send it to my printer which printed it out -- wirelessly and instantly. It was, and is, exactly what I wanted! And here's the deal. I did the installation myself when I first got the printer, and I did as instructed and it didn't work. I tried again and just got more confused. What Shane told me was that this installation glitch is common among HP printers, and the solution was something only he, and other (perhaps) technicians, know. Sometimes you have to install, and re-install, the application several times just so it gets everything right. It IS confusing and some of the procedures take quite a while to complete. Long enough that, if you don't know it, someone like me thinks nothing is going on so I try something else, interrupting what it IS doing and further complicates things. So I highly recommend Lofgren IT Consulting to take care of your complicated computer problems. And the price is just what you would expect to pay for such service. And he lives right here in Chino Valley!

We recently moved our store from our old location, to a new location and Shane, the owner of Lofgren IT Consulting LLC, helped us with all of our low-voltage wiring and networking needs. Shane helped set up our server, and get all of our cash registers set up to the server. He also helped with the installation and set up of our phone system. His help was invaluable. We were able to open our store on time with no down time. I have used Shane for our IT needs for several years and I highly recommend him. Lofgren IT Consulting is an excellent company to work with. Shane is
