John Sundeman is the most informative CPA that I've ever worked with. He prefers to pick up the phone and have a conversation rather than just hide behind email. Worst service I've ever experienced. They are very rude and short with everyone. When speaking with John Sundeman both face-to-face and over the phone, he has been blatantly disinterested, ill-mannered, and impudent.

I normally am very understanding of poor customer service. I can usually shake it off, reason that they were having a bad day, maybe even see how they misunderstood my intentions somehow. However, I met with CPA John Sundeman a couple days ago and could not come up with a reasonable explanation why I was treated so poorly.

I went in for a consultation on small business taxes. First, I was not greeted by the receptionist until I began wandering around like a lost puppy. She led me to the conference room down the hall. The office was fairly clean and had an appearance of being professional.

Just starting my business out last September, I had (and still have) many questions and have not had much direction on what on what I need to report stay legal. Instead, what I got was insulted. I understand I may not have been directing my questions to the correct expertise, but I was taken aback when Mr. Sundeman began telling me I was 'way over my head' and that since I could not afford his services I should 'find someone else who knew what the hell they were doing'. He threatened with the repercussions of not reporting my taxes properly (minimum 5 years in jail), told me he didn't have time for me and sent me on my way.

Now, I want to assure you that I am in no way an idiot. I am smart enough to try to get my taxes correct before they're sent in. I am a kind person and rarely am a participant in conflict or confrontation. I was not looking for a handout. I was looking for information or at least a direction besides a shove out the door. There was no reason for someone to treat a confused potential customer (I might not have been able to pay for the services he offered now, but maybe down the line as I grow my business?) the way I was treated. I would never recommend this business to anyone.
