What an experience! I met Michelle at a small event where she was a keynote speaker to a group of influencers. Listening to her speak/present I thought, I need to meet her, she has something special. I feel more in control of myself, more apt to lead others for the good of themselves and not just me. "You cannot give what you do not have" is a motivator I keep in front of me 24/7. Emotional Intelligence and gaining wisdom are the driving forces for me to continue my growth. My power hour in the morning provided me with a solid foundation every day, knowing that today is going to be a great day full of opportunities to be an example to others and practice my new paradigms. Michelle Steffes led an interactive talk with my Information Technology Division at GRCC. She presented science-based information in a fun and engaging way, which helped us process and remember what we learned. IT folks are often natural introverts, sometimes skeptical, but are still talking about the ideas she shared and the ways we can each make small daily adjustments to our thinking which leads to BIG changes in our well-being.
