This was a GREAT cabin and location. The owner was great and very easy to work with for easy access and any questions. Plenty of room and everyone had their own bathroom! Kitchen and Living Room were wonderful, 2 stoves and 2 ovens to cook with! A ton of windows and great back deck to watch the Colorado river flow right past you every day! Definitely will stay here again! Would love to stay here in the winter with the easy access to the snowmobile trails.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving. It was absolutely perfect for 12 people. There was plenty of too and enough space to cook a thanksgiving meal.
We loved the neighborhood to take walks and the hot tub was a huge bonus.
Definitely will stay here again.

This was the perfect house for our family of 6 adults. The house was decorated beautifully and was well stocked with all the essentials for a week’s stay. Close to hiking trails inside and outside of the park. We saw elk and deer in the yard several times. The best part for us mid-westerners was at least one moose wandering through the yard each day!! We highly recommend a stay at the Sun valley cabin!

Beautiful home on Shadow Mountain Lake. 10 members of our family gathered here for a week. The house is big enough for us to all have our own space. There were 2 areas for us all to gather together. Everything worked and the house was very clean. 10 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. Kids had a great time rafting, mountain biking, hiking and zip lining. We rented a pontoon for a beautiful day on Shadow Mountain Lake and Lake Grand. Picture is the view from the deck of Shadow Mountain Lake.

I have stayed at one of the Grand Escapes properties at least twice a year for the past several years now and every time it has been a great experience! Most recently when I was doing the booking in place of my colleague taking care of it - Will was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Even when I had to make a cancellation to change dates. All the properties we've stayed at are consistently clean and comfortable as well. Not only that, but the details of it feeling homey are always on point (stocked kitchen, board games in the common space, ect.)! Overall, 10/10 would reccommend!

This is a quaint cabin with a beautiful location! It worked out well for my group. Fishing, hiking, morning coffee on the deck and picture taking are all right out the back door! This was a perfect place to get away to! We plan on enjoying ourselves here again!

Working with Will Kaufman and Grand Escapes to rent out a vacation house has been a great experience! I originally rented a place over 6 months before we planned to stay there and unfortunately a few months later the house was sold and unavailable for rent. With only a few months left before my scheduled trip, it was a stressful thing to find out because I had family coming in from all over the country. Will was very helpful and worked with me to get me other options. I ended up picking a more expensive place that was significantly bigger and more luxurious by far, and the best part was I didn’t pay a penny extra. They took a loss and compensated the price difference to make sure I had a great experience. The Upper Ranch Cabin was superbly clean, and just as beautiful as the pictures. As long as I go to Granby Ranch, my first option will be Will and Grand Escapes!
