The handled a closing for us on 08/29/2024.
As of today 12/20/2024 we still have not got the deed or the title insurance policy. I do not know if they purchased a title insurance policy for us or they just holding the money as long as they can. We paid for everything with a cashiers check. They send a closing statement the day before the closing so that we would know how much for the cashiers check. When we got to the closing they did 2 more closing statements with different amounts on them. They finally decided that they owed us money back that the amount they told us was wrong. Each time I call the office they tell me I will receive my title insurance policy and deed in a few weeks. I guess 4 months is a few weeks but still no paper work. Their office is across the street from the court house. It took them a week to get the deed to the court house to get it recorded.
Do not use them.

They were retained when me and my spouse first separated . We ended up trying to make our work and couldn't after almost 2 year . Contacted Fuqua to let the firm know I was going to restart the divorce. I was advised that he says he used 2500 dollars doing 2 financial affidavits filing. Says I had 1500 dollars left of my retainer originally said give him 2500 more and he would do it but then started ignoring all calls and filed to withdraw from my case. So he is taking 1500 that's left after overcharging me for most of the other 2500. He's a crook and his firm is a joke

I call just to get an appointment. Operator clearly act as if they didn’t want any business. Even after I told her I didn’t mind waiting, then couple weeks turn into a month. Oh, let’s not forget her constantly letting me know about the cost to make an appointment. Which I clearly stated NO PROBLEM 🙄
