Absolutely LOVED our first fly fishing experience with Jeremy!! He was very patient with us, and made us feel comfortable and at ease. He was extremely knowledgeable about all things fishing, and staying in Colorado. We highly recommend booking an experience with him, and we will definitely visit him again the next time we are in Colorado. Jeremy did a great job communicating with me when I reached out to him. He indicated what local conditions were like and what to expect. He also provided great tips for making the most of my visit. We had a great time and caught over 20 rainbows and browns. Of course there was the lunker that got away and broke the line, but not before showing us itself. This was my first time fly fishing and Jeremy made it a blast! Thanks for the great times and memories. We planned a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park for hiking and I was interested in trying to fly fish. A friend of mine recommended Fly Fishing the Rocky Mountains. I gave Jeremy a call and he was eager to help. He suggested one of their day hikes and guided fishing trips up to one of the alpine lakes. We ended up going up to the Loch Valle for our trip. Dave was our guide and it was absolutely amazing. The hike up was great and Dave helped to make sure we had a good experience. Once we got to the Loch, we quickly went to one of Dave’s spots and we sat there a bit before we started fishing. He said the temps needed to warm up a bit before the fish would come closer to the banks to start feeding and sure enough that’s exactly how it happened. He got the rod ready and within 5 minutes he had me catching one. It was awesome. We ended up moving to another spot and the final count for the day was 7 greenback cut throat trout. Dave was a great teacher constantly helping with each cast on technique. You could tell he was having just as much fun as I was and genuinely wanted me to keep catching fish. Overall, we made a lasting memory today and something I hope to get the opportunity to get to done again. Look no further for your Rocky Mountain fly fishing adventure! Our guides, Jeremy and Phil, showed my 14 year old son and me everything we needed to know to land multiple rainbow and brown trout on our first outing.

We fish frequently back home in TX and fly fishing has been on my bucket list for years. We’ve fished with lesser outfits in the past where the guide’s personality (or lack thereof) makes every minute unbearable. Jeremy and Phil are amiable and interesting - making the whole experience fly by!

We will certainly be back for more soon!

I'm hooked! (See what I did there.)

Jeremy took me and my husband out for our first ever fly fishing trip. Not only did we get to learn about the species, but we got up close and personal with some delicious looking trout! But don't worry, this is catch and release - we gotta keep those Colorado rivers swimmin'.

Great for all ages and levels. Don't forget your sunglasses, sunscreen, and layers they got you covered for the fishy stuff Booking was super easy and quick.

Highly recommend. Mustache was on point and a highlight if you are into facial hair.

I have fished with many guides with different levels of experience. Jeremy is up there as one of the best. I learned more from fly fishing with him for one day than I could’ve in months by myself. Do yourself a favor when you’re in town and use this Guide service.. You’ll thank me later! He was persistent, kind, and facilitated the environment where I caught my first native brook trout on a dry fly. Doesn’t get much better than that especially with the mountain backdrop! Can’t wait to go back!!

Incredible is the only way to describe my two days of fishing with Jeremy and Fly Fishing the Rocky Mountain. Jeremy welcomed my pup for one stellar day outside the Park where Rainbows, Browns, and even a Curt-Bow were plentiful. The following day the pup got daycare and we went into RMNP. I was awestruck at being able to watch the fish take the fly through the crystal clear waters! The fishing was definitely more technical, but Jeremy was there with gentle reminders on my form. I highly recommend this outfit and guide whether you are new to fly fishing or a pro.

Jeremy and Philomena did a great kob explaining and coaching our group on nymph fishing for trout. Beautiful area and relaxing way to spend the morning on a mountain stream. Highly recommended.
