When we started Hands on Wildlife 11 years ago, just like many small business owners, we had huge dreams and goals. We could easily see the steps we needed to take to start our business and Hands on Wildlife quickly grew and started to evolve just like we had envisioned. However, despite our success, we found ourselves almost drowning in the success that we had created. We were so busy working IN our business that we were failing to work ON our business. Through a very targeted one on one business coaching plan with Ellie Corley, we were able to rediscover our dreams and we developed a very specific plan to guide our vision and achieve our goal. The individual online business coaching sessions kept me motivated and held me accountable to spend the time to work ON our business rather than in it. The clear goals set prior to each coaching session allowed me to stay focused. Ellie was able to gently guide me as I discovered why I was fearful of some the steps that needed to be taken and helped me to find ways to tackle these steps with understanding and confidence.

I went into the coaching sessions with a specific project and goal that I wanted to see take off. Certainly, that project is much further along than it has ever been, and we have a clear plan and tools in place as a result of our time with Ellie. What I never anticipated, was how much the coaching has helped our existing business grow. Through six, hour long coaching sessions, our existing business has seen a 10% growth in revenue. We have promoted our casual employee to permanent part time, and while we are busier than we ever have been, I have finally found the time to focus and work ON our business rather than in it. Ellie quickly determined what coaching style worked best to keep me motivated, and she knew what questions to ask and tasks to set to keep me on track. I have a better understanding of why I may be hesitating to do certain tasks, and I now feel confident that I have tools to overcome that hesitation. On a personal level, Ellie provided me with tools to manage stress and find gratitude, and that has certainly allowed me to be a better business owner and person.
