The house was beautifully done and very comfortable. Andrew was great to deal with too - very accommodating. The reason for 3 stars...

Microwave and grill were broken. Because we were on vacation and didn't want to deal with repair people, we did not request service or replacement. This should have been dealt with prior to our stay.

The house had zero essentials provided. Aside from the toilet paper in the holder, and paper towels on the rack - we had to buy everything else, to include more toilet paper, paper towels, aluminum foil, trash bags, dish and laundry detergent, salt and pepper. I understand that these items are not promised by Edgewater, but it would have made the stay a little less frustrating.

Beach Towels! There are no beach towels! We were instructed to use the limited bath towels for beach and pool. Lots of laundry to do, and again, no laundry detergent.

We went out for a boat trip one afternoon and when we returned, a carpenter had been there to install a screen by the patio. We were never told that someone was coming by, and didn't secure belongings in the house, so we felt very violated when we realized there had been someone there without our knowing.

Our experience has been positive. A few things broken upon arrival but the important one was fixed within hours.

Plenty of space and the staff have been very accommodating. The condo had plenty of beach extras (wish i had asked before renting our own!

I had wished it was cleaner. The housekeeper must have been in a hurry that day. But it wasn't anything I couldn't easily do and it didn't bother me given the great service we'd had with everyone.

We'll rent from them again.

The booking agent (Kerry) was amazing.

Our house was wonderful-loved it but the pool was not heated on arrival (the office didn't tell the pool guy) and the grill was not working. These things should have been ready but the good news is the office was really responsive and jumped on them.

Lastly, my wife left her makeup bag at the home and they didn't bother to call us. They held it for a few days and then threw it away (this is what they told us). My wife asked why they didn't call us and they gave us a lame excuse.

I was a long term renter and found the staff at Edgewater Real Estate were very accommodating and pleasant to work with. They were always eager to assist me with any issues and bent over backwards to ensure I was able to occupy the rental in a relatively short time. This was an absolute life saver for me! I can't thank them enough. I will recommend them to anyone looking for vacation rentals on AMI or longer term rentals in Manatee County.

LOVE LOVE LOVE our vacation rental on the bay. It is exceptionally beautiful, clean, quiet and comfortable. It has everything you need! And the beds are super comfortable (which is rare in rental properties.) This is our 5th visit here and Edgewater Real Estate (Lynn and her team) have been wonderful to work with. They are warm, friendly, fun and highly accommodating. An excellent choice for your vacation rental!

I see other negative reviews, so I figured I should rate my experience. The house we rented was almost perfect. The staff was nice. There were issues with a dirty hot tub which one of edgewater's staff offered to clean, but I had already done it. They did compensate us with a partial refund. I would have gave this company 5 stars if they would have addressed the dirty hot tub the 1st or second day. Overall nice and polite staff.

Absolute scam! My husband and I attempted to rent a place through Edgewater, we paid the appropriate amount in full and were told to pick up the keys at the resort. Upon contacting the resort we learned they do not have keys to the particular room we had "rented". Apparently it is owned by a private owner. We paid $570 for two nights for a room we had no access to and to top it off we were denied a refund! The resort warned us that they have had nothing but complaints about these scam artists. Please be cautious when dealing with these crooks!

Very disappointing. House had too many issues to list. Countless things didn't work including the house grill. Pool and hot tub were extremely cold upon arriving, and couldn't get them to do anything about it. Edgewater kept saying they would send someone out, never did. Finally the pool company came on Tuesday to clean it, and he was very helpful and got them to come out and service the pool. Didn't get to enjoy the pool for 3 days until it was fixed. Also had to kill a massive cockroach we found in the kitchen on our final night. Not a pleasant stay at all
