ECC kitchen and bath have been excellent to work with on projects. From communication to billing, they make it so simple and not to mention they really do have an eye for detail. I would 1000% recommend them for your next remodel project as well as working with them as a subcontractor. To say I'm impressed would be an understatement.

We experienced ongoing issues with ECC after having flooring installed in our home. Less than a year after the installation, a section of the flooring in our home office began to lift. Despite reaching out to ECC for a resolution, they declined to address the issue. After filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, we contacted a different contractor who inspected the flooring and fixed it. He determined that the flooring had not been installed properly, likely due to rushed work. A few months later, additional sections of the flooring began to lift in the office, and other areas in different rooms showed similar issues.

We have had to purchase multiple area rugs to protect the flooring, and we are uncertain if the extra flooring we have will be enough to fix all the damaged areas. Prior to hiring ECC, we installed LVP flooring ourselves from Home Depot without experiencing any issues, which further highlights the problem with ECC’s installation. We have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General regarding these ongoing concerns.

I would not recommend ECC to anyone.

I would highly recommend that you stay away from ECC. We had a very terrible experience with them. Their lack of communication led to them double billing us for work that was included in the original estimate. Despite not having a signed contract, we agreed to settle with them on the duplicate invoice. Fast forward 6ish months, our flooring is beginning to come up in one of our rooms (which is clearly beginning to buckle and you can push the flooring up and down). After a lot of consideration and hesitation, we decided to reach out to see about having our flooring fixed. ECC's response to that was having an attorney sending us a cease and desist letter stating we were in breach of contract, defamation, etc. They refuse to fix the flooring. We filed a complaint with the BBB and ECC has yet to respond to that complaint. I would warn anyone wanting to do business with them to do your research first and ask around. My wife and I wish we would have done a little more research before we decided to hire them. When we were fighting with them about the duplicate invoice my wife discovered that their business was delinquent with the Secretary of State this past summer/fall (when they were working on our home). To sum it up, we had a horrible experience with ECC and their lack of communication only made things worse. It seemed like the two owners weren't communicating with each other. We were in direct contact with one of the owners (who was actually doing the work at our home), yet the other one was the one arguing with us (when he hadn't been to our property in months).
The only positive thing I have to say about ECC is that the subcontractors they hired to do our fireplace were extremely professional and did an amazing job on our fireplace stone work.

We hired ECC to remodel our kitchen, flooring, fireplace, and sliding glass door. Jim and Terry managed all crews very well, even when we had a delay with our backsplash, they addressed this right away and we stayed on schedule. Entire project turned out amazing! Would definitely work with them again.

We contracted locally with Elizabeth Construction Company (ECC) for some bathroom remodeling and are happy we did!

Our list of desired changes included full demo and new design of our tiled master shower and vanity backsplashes, new guest bath granite countertop and sink, along with new glass shower doors for both rooms.

ECC’s Design Director/Showroom Manager Sarah and colleague Amanda guided me through a very thorough tile design selection process, with meetings at our home and at ECC’s showroom, here in Elizabeth. Their suggestions, our in-person and over-the-phone discussions and follow-through, along with being able to see and feel multiple tile samples, made for an efficient, professional and fun process. Having this help available to select new bathroom designs really made a difference to this project!

ECC co-owners Jim and Terry, along with their install teams, worked hard to ensure the demo and remodel met the design vision. Excellent communications and follow-through happened throughout our project. While there is always a hiccup or two along the way with remodeling work, what becomes super critical is how your contracted service responds to those hiccups. Jim, Terry and the ECC Team listened, responded and delivered a terrific final product for us. Thank You, ECC Team!

We LOVE ECC!! Jim, Terry, Amanda, and the rest of team have done amazing work on two projects for us. They crafted a stunning custom designed deck with large patio expansion, custom reclaimed barn wood mantle with stone finish, cabinet molding, and kitchen/mudroom backsplash. Everything looks beautiful!! They are all very professional and helpful the from start to finish. We felt like the price was very reasonable as well. What's most important to us is not only the top notch quality of their work, but they standby it as well. Any minor hiccups were addressed quickly and fairly. You just cannot beat that when it comes to contractors. We trust ECC and look forward to many more projects in the future!! Thanks ECC! Ya'll are awesome!!
