Visited his office after being referred by others having used him. We sat down with him and he immediately told us he only handled wills not previously disclosed. Fifteen minutes or less later we left and he told his secretary to bill us $150. Big ego for an old semi retired lawyer thinking he is worth $600 an hour. I am tired of lawyers only wanting to have you sit down with them for 15 minutes charge you but not knowing if they will represent you. My contract shows the borrower owes me $40,000. The Sheriffs department and two other lawyers claim I have an air tight case and to use a paralegal firm. As for the $40,000, it does not appear to be enough to interest lawyers of today. Perhaps we have too many lawyers and the term ambulance chasers is warranted.

Truly professional and courteous business offices.
We recently helped an elderly friend with appointments and transportation the Russell Duerkson law office in Prescott Valley to set up a will, advance directives etc.
Originally we contacted the office in Chino Valley as that was the last number our friend had, she had been referred by a someone a year ago.
The Chino Valley office secretary was professional, knowledgeable and gave us all the information we needed to continue with the Prescott Valley office as it is much closer for our friend to travel to .
We contacted the P.V. Office and received the same friendly and professional treatment .
The office staff from Russell, his secretary, paralegal and notary were very kind and took in to account our friends age in explaining every question she had.
We had our first appointment which went seamlessly , we didn’t have any wait time.
The next and last appointment was today and again no wait time , just three weeks later and everything was ready for her to sign in perfect order. We are expecting another 3-4 weeks for filing , what an efficient office to get this done in such a timely manor.
What a great experience at a law office, Russell and staff are professional, knowledgeable, kind and a pleasure to work with.
Highly recommend the Law offices of Russell Duerkson in Chino Valley and Prescott Valley.

Russell Duerksen and his team were amazing in helping me with a claim against a negligent attorney. He was knowledgeable about the process on how to make my family whole through the entire situation, and did it without any concern towards payment due to the harm caused by a different attorney. He was great at communicating and never missed a deadline for follow up. He showed outstanding character for the "right" thing to be done and I would be happy to recommend his law office to anyone searching for a great attorney.

My spouse received a phone call today from Russel Dureksen. He asked which lawyer we had to represent us so that he may speak with them. We told him we don’t have one yet. He proceeded to demand a time a date that our neighbor, his client, could have his crew install a fence down our property to fence our cattle and us off our property where the easement boundary is. He also pressed asking if my spouse would give permission to his client to remove a gate in the center of our property across the easement, one that does not exist. In what world is it professional or appropriate to press my spouse who does not have legal representation about giving his client permission to do anything that alters our property. He did not ask if we would remove any alleged obstruction but if my spouse would give his client permission to do so. He claims that his client has the right to make any improvements to the easement without offering any reference of substance. His client has reasonable access through the easement to his vacant parcel. This experience was absolutely absurd and unprofessional. If any lawyers are reading this and are interested in representing us, please feel free to reach out.

Very very rude staff. Would give them negative stars if I could. Shirley shoved me off from the moment she answered the phone, sounds lazy actually. didn't even understand what my question was to delay the correct information to Russell .(I googled insurance attorney near me and this is who came up) he needs new staff. No wonder chino is at a stand still with people like this.
