Recently had the pleasure of completing my firm's first transaction with the team at DLP, and it was smooth throughout. Nick Lanni was the associate heading up the transaction from the very beginning, all the way through making sure that the last cent cleared escrow. Early on, it was clear that the communication was professional but easily familiar. Nick knew what was needed, grasped a 360 view of the deal, and inspired confidence in the seller and myself of DLP's surety to close. This was really important to the seller, who'd owned this portfolio for over 20 years and wanted to retire knowing it was going to be a comfortable transition.

The DLP team was efficient and organized in running their due diligence, and my interaction with Nick was personally enjoyable. Ultimately, DLP brought in one of their preferred borrowers as the buyer, and DLP took the role as direct lender on the deal. Nick stayed with the deal through loan closure, making sure that the deal progressed just as it would have with DLP in the driver's seat.

Knowing that DLP is able to evaluate deals, not only as a proficient capital partner, but also as a well-established owner/operator, is all the more reason that I look forward to future transactions with their shop.

DLP folks are easy to work with, offer excellent investment products and provide an enjoyable customer experience. My wife and I are retired and have been invested with them for two plus years. Our level of investment has been guided by a financial advisor recommended by Don Wenner. Returns are good; we just have not had a need to exit any of the funds, therefore, cannot comment on that aspect - and the reason for the 4-star rating. At this point, we are very happy we chose to invest with them.

I recently moved my retirement plan from a previous employer over to an IRA to invest in a DLP Fund (The stock market downs are worse than their upside). Mandy Danish handled the transaction seamlessly and in so much less time than expected! The IRA Services company has cut their processing times due to Covid-19 and Mandy got all the ducks in a row FAST to get through their open windows. Full disclosure: I work for DLP but there's no favoritism. I had to go to the back of the line like anyone else although I'm grateful that it's an express line!
