Mr. Kaufmann agreed to take on a fairly complicated estate income tax for me so that I could settle my mothers estate with my two siblings. Mr. Kaufmann's expertise in this type of tax situation was very apparent. Not only was he extremely professional, but he really took the time to explain how the taxes would be filed and what we should expect. I needed to file a one-time 1041 for my late sister's estate. I tried doing it myself but it was confusing. I couldn't find anyone locally who knew anything about it. The best information I could find on the 1041 was Dave's website. I hired him to file this form and all the other forms that go with it. He set up a fiscal year so I only have to do this once. The big surprise was a large capital loss he found that more than paid his fee! Highly recommended.

This my second year using David Kaufmann for my taxes and I find that he is great on all fronts: Individual taxes, Sub Chapter S Corp taxes, and Trust taxes. In other past years I had used tax software, but it became too complicated with these three areas. I had interviewed several CPA’s prior to finding Mr. Kaufmann and none of whom I had interviewed were as clear on Trust tax work as I have discovered David to be. He is excellent on details and can clearly explain the whys of what the tax information is.
He has also helped me with general taxable event questions outside of filing yearly taxes. We do all our communications remotely without problems as I am from Texas. I highly recommend David Kaufmann as my CPA

David exceeded my expectations. He prepared a trust tax return and related IRS filings. David provided excellent service and was extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. To begin with, he provided a well organized means to gather and provide critical data, followed up with questions to ensure I didn't "miss" anything, and sent me reminders to keep us on target to meet filing deadline.
