Dallaire & Associates has a very professional team of tax professionals. We utilize them for our taxes and highly recommend them. For full disclosure, John Dallaire is related to me. He is my Uncle and I feel very comfortable sending my friends and business owners to them for assistance.

I have been a client of Cohen and Dallaire for over a ten year time frame. I engaged their firm as a result of recommendations from multiple people in my line of business. Had both 2018 corporate & personal returns done and was told we owed $ 27,000. When I replied that's impossible, was informed it was double checked and correct. I paid for their work, but didn't have them file. Went to a different CPA & had both returns redone using Dallaire's work papers and only owed $ 3100. When I contacted Dallaire for a refund I was completely blown off !

Had used this firm for several years. Changes in management took place At that point in time everything changed as far as customer service. Monthly rates were increased without any notice. Our account was turned over to an unlicensed person .Tax advice was given by this unlicensed person because I did not feel it professional to be addressed as(Honey ,sweetheart, darling etc) I requested another person that would speak to me as a customer in a professional manner. Their solution was to give us an unlicensed individual within the firm.
Many requests were made by E- mail and several trips to the office to have a meeting to answer questions concerning our account. There was always a reason as to why we could not meet. The best response was a phone call from the unlicensed manager who vented his anger.
I was approached by a long term former employee from this firm who had left this firm under much duress. This was the second person to leave in the last several months to my understanding.
We are still being billed for work that is questionable. Again, after several e mails asking for the firm to send me a final bill statement they refuse to respond.
Our new accounting firm has spent several months ( 3 ) trying to get us back on track.
Please do your due diligence before selecting this firm for your accounting needs. Make sure the customer service is at a high quality level.

I have used this firm for over ten years. The last four were horrible. I was misguided left hanging on my taxes when I had them all in by Jan. 30th for the past four years I had to constantly ask for the completion of my taxes I would call every three weeks finally seven months after I turned them in I received incompetent work. I was never given any advice or conferred on items of importance. I requested voluntarily taxes to be paid quarterly I received three quarters at once two which had long passed as quarters. When the problem blew up all they did was blame the office help. Between lost paperwork that I had to chase down and get new copies of to not receiving contracts back that were turned in for tax purposes. I have moved on to a wonderful accounting firm. Take my advice before you leap on this firm. It has gone downhill since management has changed. I have asked for a breakdown of my services which I never received. Total incompetence on their part. Is company has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Like they say revenge is a dish best served cold. Beware.

I was very disappointed with their extremely unprofessional handling of my taxes. I dropped off my taxes with 2 previous years of what my past accountant did. They called a week later and said they would do them without even going over any of my paperwork. They were not going to give me depreciation on my commercial business property. I was told by several people how wonderful they are and how they could help me with investments as well as taxes . I had to keep calling continuesly to find out when I could get them. They didn't complete my income tax report for it was totally incorrect and incompetent and charged me $ 300 to pick up my paperwork to take it back to my original accounant. Thank God I got away from them. Do you due diligence.
