Communication is definitely a problem. Kayla should know how to conduct herself vs over talking tenants and catching an attitude. I’ve spoken with her a few times and it’s always the same mouth & attitude. You’re in a management position so learn how to conduct yourself or let someone else who knows what they’re doing come and take over.

If I could give zero stars I would I talked to a regional manger KAYLA who was beyond rude when speaking about issues in the Piedmont Pads apartments in Atlanta, GA. As a paying tenant I expect issues to be properly addressed and resolved. She was very unprofessional hollering at and over the phone and cutting me off as I was talking. They don’t care about their residents because if they did they would work to fix problems instead of making excuses and being rude.

If I could give less stars I would. This company is terrible. Do not moving into Willow Lakes apartment. Office manager is rude and completely ineffective, your maintenance requests will take forever or be closed with no follow up, and no reasonable accommodations are made unless you call upper management who you have to push to get basic assistance.
Since moving into this apartment I’ve have multiple weeks of being unable to shower, my water heater breaking (still not fully fixed), my closet flooded (requested mold test, nothing done), unable to use my washer/dryer for weeks at a time. My A/C has gone out numerous times. If this company manages your property, run.

Update 2/23
We do have mold in our apartment, Maya Mustafa sat on the information for a year and had her staff tell me it was just stains while my request for mold testing was ignored multiple times. No accommodations made for my daughter with asthma who has been having respiratory issues for the last year.
Juan Castillo reports that the issue has been “tooken care of” and that everything is safe so our options are to take the equipment that is killing the mold out or just deal with it! Now I’m being told I can’t come to the office anymore? Make it make sense!

This place took over our complex a year ago and it has gone downhill ever since. They couldn’t fill rooms so they supposedly rented them out as air bnb, rumors about section 8, they don’t replace any of the community things that are broken, they fired all of the people that used to work here and actually maintained the place, and now we’re stuck with people that give us red tape answers and they are clearly unhappy working here. Currently our plumbing is broken as are other units. Toilets are out. Maintenance came and then disappeared. It took 3-4 hours for me to get an answer on what was being done. The answer is nothing. They couldn’t find anyone to come out and that’s it. We have no restrooms to use as the public ones are also broken. A customer service agent told us to use a gas station and since his dashboard indicated that the highest management already knew of the issue, to not call again because that’s like telling a paramedic there’s a dead guy when he’s already doing CPR. I’ve rented for 10 years and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I loved it here before they took over. I’ve never complained. But this is by far the most unprofessional experience I’ve encountered.

I will start by saying that despite the three different property management companies that have taken over Westwood @ 60 in the past three years, I have managed to make my 2/2 apartment a home for myself and my child. The current management company, or individuals who have no knowledge of and no business in property management, aren't off to a great year. Isn’t it breach of contract if I have paid my deposits and signed the lease but don’t have the unys because it’s not move in ready on date of move in? Can a lawyer or legal representative please comment or reach out and let me know what my stance is please? Also, is it a health code violation to have a coach roach infestoing a foodtion of this size in an apartment? See photos. Can someone in the Health code department please reach out and guide me on the steps to take from here? As for the mold that was painted over, I am a property claims adjuster and I already know that only a mold mitigation company can decide whether there is mold in the unit. The property manager stated that the stuff in the drawers was not mold; she could tell by looking at it, it was just bug guts and dirt, so she had the maintenance man just paint over it.
My deposits were submitted to Westwood Crossings and my lease was signed on November 2, 2022. I asked for a look at the unit then for cleaning and maintenance and I was told that the unit was move in ready and I that I would receive my key on the morning of move in date. My move in date was supposed to be November 18, 2022 but I was able to talk the property manager into letting me into the unit on Tuesday the 15th to have a look around. On the morning of the 18th, attempts had been made to get the unit move in ready, but it is still not and I still don’t have my keys. I was told that the move in date would be postponed but not given a date of when and later on that evening when I asked for the key to see the unit again for a professional cleaners consultation that I would hire, I saw that I was going to be cheated out of mold free and cleaned unit, free of pest.

Won’t speak for the company as a whole. I actually have had very bad experience with everyone I’ve dealt with. Recently had an issue with my unit and spoke with a regional manager by the name of Daniel or Danny. He was very professional he cared about my issue and took it upon himself to handle it immediately. It was a breath of fresh air to finally deal with someone who understood their job, cared to do it and was courteous and professionalism

Extremely unprofessional management group. Not solution-driven or focused on their properties or residents of said properties. Hoped to seek resolve on my car being towed due to a maintenance issue of the parking gate not opening and received the most unpleasant service from the VP of Operations, Juan Castillo. He had no answers or solutions for my concern, cut me off and spoke over me, and refused to answer any of my questions or take my concern seriously. He also refused to pass me along to the next point of contact since he was unable to assist me, and quite frankly, didn’t want to.
