We have worked with Alfonso Rivera on several projects and have always received excellent engineering services. He is a valuable part of our team and a great asset to CTL Thompson. Whenever we have questions or concerns about existing structural conditions or upcoming structural designs for both complex or cost effective strategies, Alfonso has been willing to dig in and work through things to get us a design that checks all the boxes. He has gone above and beyond and provided us with connections to other engineers locally when the job needs it and never hesitates to help coordinate or assist however he can. It is often difficult for our company to find great and creative engineering for the Passive Houses we build- details for thick walls, ICF's, SIPS, traditional framing, and thermally broken structural details, as well as Post Frame and Timber Framing-and Alfonso is smart and creative and always willing to help. We highly recommend giving him a call if you or your company are looking for a structural engineer!
