I absolutely would not recommend Josh Conner CPA. Josh was unprofessional in email communications with my husband and I while using his services. He is very unprompt in getting back to you, no matter which way you try and contact him. We tried to file our taxes in early. Tax deadline came and went and it was crickets from Josh. Giving us a very uneasy, confused feeling. After visiting the office twice, he refuses to see you and has an ‘it is what it is, deal with it,’ mentality.

Perhaps not the cheapest but, IMHO, the best. I met with Walt, submitted my documents, and in a matter of a week or so, my return was ready for signature. Saved me a lot on taxes this year and I highly recommend them! Very professional!

I am a combat veteran - a retired US Army officer that served in active duty for 24 years and retired honorably from the service in 2016.

I endured the most frustrating experience ever - seven months left in the dark to properly prepare, file simple taxes and to apply for an ITIN.

Paid ahead of time for services from this office to get my taxes prepared, filed, and to apply for an ITIN for my spouse in March 2023 - fast forward to September 2023 and the only thing accomplished was a request to the IRS for a tax extension.

From March 2023 to September 2023 called, emailed, talked with the staff and even physically visited the office; also emailed Josh directly to remedy the situation during the journey, everything in vane, all my attempts were dodged, skipped, and ignored by Josh.

During my physical visit to the office in September 2023 Josh declined to see me and discuss the issues, was finally able to talk to him over a phone conference in September at that time, I informed him that my taxes were not filed with as they should have had with the IRS as per letter received from the IRS as of SEP 6, 2023, emailed him proof of it and Josh still denied the facts that the taxes still were not filed with the IRS up to this date.

At the end - because of the negligence of this office to respond, I had to seek the legal advise of a professional, due to it, this office was subdued to finally o/a Sept 7, 2023 properly filed my taxes with the IRS.

Same issues with the ITIN; I made the office aware (in March 2023) of the fact that I needed an ITIN application to be submitted for my spouse - here we were in September 2023 (7 months later) and Josh had never even filled out a W7 Application, much less submitted an application to the IRS - Josh made me spent $250.00 in a passport certification - I ended up wasting that money and time, come to find out - didn't need it.

I was able myself to make an appointment with the IRS and go to the Tax Assistance Center (TAC) of the IRS Office and get the W7 (ITIN Application) submitted without the need for a passport certification. Also, the taxes themselves had to be totally redone at the IRS Office and amended as they were prepared wrong by Josh.

In essence - a total failure to provide me the results for the services I paid the office for.

My opinions are based on my own experiences with Josh, his office and his detrimental services towards I, and my family, based on it - I will NOT recommend this office services to anyone.

UPDATE

As of today, 20 February 2024 I am still dealing with the IRS due to the inability of this office (Corner and Associates LLC) to do their job correctly; they've made such a big mess last year preparing my taxes and I and family are paying the price and the consequences of dealing with this office inefficiency - please be aware and go elsewhere.

***UPDATE #2 As of 4/23/2024

Picked up a different firm to take care of the headaches created by Josh and Conner & Associates with my taxes - this other company immediately took care of all of my needs and my taxes were submitted, accepted and completed in just matter of a few weeks something that wasn’t it accomplished by Josh and Conner & Associates in eight months.

Responsibility, respect and courtesy to clients aren’t skills present anywhere near Conner and Associates based on my own experiences - hire them at your own risk.

Josh is a wonderful person! Very professional and down to earth. My husband and I had our taxes done by a different person the year before and Josh was able to find A LOT of things that should have been caught.
