Conn Surveyors

I would not recommend this company. I called for a survey and was told they were about 4 weeks out. No problem. Received a call 3 months later with an arrival time between 7:30 and 8:00. No arrival. Called company at 8:20 and secretary said she would get ahold of workers(apparently they were on another job) and call back. No call. Called at 9:00 to cancel, as workers still had not shown up, and asked to be rescheduled to next day. Secretary said she would try to work us in and call back. Still no return phone call. I don’t know about their actual work but everything leading up to it is not professional at all.

If there was a way to rate them lower than one star, I would. I ordered a survey towards the beginning of the year and was told it would be a while before they could come out, which was fine. My husband called at the end of February/beginning of March and asked how far out they were as we needed to go out of town. He was told that they were still 3-4 weeks out. My husband said that was fine as he wanted to be there when the survey was done. While we were out of town we got a call from our son saying that the surveyors were there. We had had no call to let us know when they were coming, they just showed up out of nowhere one day. My husband spoke with the surveyor that was there, on the phone, and explained exactly what we were needing. He was assured that it would be done, and all corners marked. When our son called us a few hours later he said that he could not find the 2 markers in the woods. My husband called Conn several times and the phone would either not be answered, or picked up and hung back up. He left several messages, none of which were returned. I finally called mid June to see what was going on, as we still had not received our survey that was done in March. The secretary said she would leave a message and call me the next day. She never called, and when I called back a week later she said all she could do is leave another message for the surveyor to call me. I told her at this point I've waited 3 months for a survey that was done and no one has returned calls, and at this point I just wanted it canceled and I would be contacting another survey company. The secretary responded "fine" and hung up on me. Having been a business owner, I understand the straines of owning a business, but this company is beyond unprofessional.

Got to our project in a timely manner and the price was very affordable. Thank you guys for great service.

Had to have my property surveyed before we could begin building on it. Apparently they stay pretty busy but got the job done when they said they would. Super helpful because I know nothing about surveying so they were great in explaining things!

Buisness is in the basement of a house. Only one person knew answers to any questions and he only spoke through the wall, never addressed me face to face. After explaining what we needed we waited 4 weeks for them to survey the property. $716.00 later we still didn't have what we needed. We have 14 acres and they only surveyed 1 acre with the house. I was told by man on the other side of the wall, "$700 bucks don't get you much now days." Not the point! We needed our whole property mapped for us and 1 acre with house separately for bank loan. We have flags and posts all over our property, how did only 1 acre make it to the paper. This is how they treat you when there is No competition in Cullman county.

Conn Surveyors have been doing land surveying for me for the last twenty-five years their very professional, and thorough. Mr. Conn has always carried state of the art equipment. If their supplied with the right information, they can give a top notch survey.

My experience has been Conn Surveyors do not even have basic surveying skills. Be cautious, prices may be good, but you get what you pay for.
