I've been with the CFG group now for many years, and while the entire staff is so very kind, my direct experience is with my advisor, Rodney Ownby. He is not only the most knowledgeable advisor I've ever known, but he responds to my correspondence anytime, whether in normal business hours or not. I'm a loyal client forever!

I do not recommend this company, started out with misleading requests only to get less and less transparency as time went on, very difficult to meet with, and they want you to do everything online, almost like it is self service, and when you ask questions, it always comes back to you made the decision. They take absolutely no responsibility and if you push to hard, instead of clarity and transparency. They quit and tell you to go somewhere else. As a fiduciary and legally supposed to explain things in a manner that you understand, well I still don't understand, and they quit me when I asked about my money. Watch your money closely. I made a complaint to SEC for help.

I called up a few years back and asked some questions to the front desk lady was very helpful..They forward me to Rodney. We talked about a year I gained trust for him and moved all my assets with him. in the last year that I have been with him he has been nothing but phenomenal, he has always steered me in the right direction and it never seems all about money with him. Called today to get some financial guidance. Spoke with Ashley and after throughly explaining my situation to her she tells me she isn't a financial planner, and gave me a phone number unrelated to any of the conversation I had with her. I literally got nowhere today. Very disappointed.

Thank you for proving my point about Ashley. My credit score is 788. My home and car are both paid for. All I wanted was to speak with a financial planner for guidance on the best ways to grow my savings. Ashley's conclusion was to refer me to a debt specialist? But it's okay. Everything that happens is for a reason. The financial planners I'm working with now have given me real solid advice and have helped me with my specific needs. ✌️

I have been a client since 2005. I trust Joe, Aaron, and the team of fiduciaries to safely build my retirement account, which they certainly have done. I decided to retire early and began receiving monthly payments from my retirement account. Ten years later I had the same principal amount as the day i retired (which is outstanding considering the amount which has been paid to me over these 10 years.)
