I attended back in 2020 and it’s very educational. Unfortunately though, this won’t help you land a job in the industry as I was lead to believe. There are people I went to high school with that work in local dispensary’s that have to prior experience or education in the field. This was supposed to give you a leverage to get a job in the industry but it’s just a scam. I still don’t understand how to get a job in the industry only how to grow weed correctly, which doesn’t help me living in Florida.

Just took the 1-day crash course lab and all I can say is wow. The course really is well defined and shows you all aspects of the industry. The friendly staff and clean environment makes the training safe,fast and fun. The course is designed for all levels of experience cultivators. If you're looking to get into the industry invest in yourself and sign up.

It's been a few years since I enrolled in this "School" so I can't speak on it today in case it has improved, but when I attended their in-person class in 2020, it seemed good and educational, however they were pushing way too many group projects and group work. Almost everything had to be done with a group, which I personally don't like as I'm not there to learn how to grow cannabis with other people but instead as an individual and personally can't learn this way.

The people I was teamed up with were already experienced while I wasn't, so the entire time, they were taking charge in the projects and going too fast for anyone to learn. I did not get the opportunity to really learn this subject and the teachers were rushing through the course on top of this. This made it very intimidating and was not of any value to me at all. For context as well, I am a former Trulieve employee of 3 years so I'm experienced when it comes to Cannabis as a whole, but not as a grower.

I didn't show up the next day due to this and pretty much stepped away from this entirely. I sent a message to this organization to let them know and they advised me that I could get a full refund since I only showed up for one day. Unfortunately, this refund never happened. I contacted them back a few weeks later asking for an update and was advised that they'll take care of it, but it never happened.

At this point, I gave up. If I saw a deposit then that is great, or if not, I'm not wasting my time. This happened in 2020. It is now 2024 and obviously that refund never came nor am I expecting it or putting effort into it.

I would avoid this organization at all cost as it is purely for their own profit rather than your education. Group projects are easier to teach than with individuals and supplies are cheaper in few when you force group projects. Easier to learn with ChatGPT than this scammy business.

The knowledge I've gained through both the basic course and advanced grow courses at the Orlando campus are priceless. instead of trying to learn from 10,000 different web pages, videos and opinions, the entire LSU team has organized the material into a simplified step by step process that then branches out to more technical aspects of the industry with great learning tools like hands on labs. I'm absolutely ecstatic someone is spreading this knowledge, and I hope it only GROWS from here. thank you all again.

6 years later, this school has come a long way. It used to be in a small room above other businesses growing tomatoes. I'm glad to see it GREW!.

This school is a fraud. I have emailed and called them over 50 times in the past 2 months after I registered and paid for the mastery course. First, no courses showed up in my portal and then after about three weeks, the "bud-tending" and "open a dispensary course" showed up in my account, not the mastery course that I paid for. I will be disputing the charge and filing a complaint with the better business bureau for their complete failure to acknowledge any of my communications or give me what I paid for.
