I contracted with Busy Bee Advisors for bookkeeping services scheduled to begin in 2025. However, they attempted to charge us for all of 2024—a year during which our company did not exist (it was founded in December 2024) and received no services whatsoever.

I was dealing directly with Julie Tingley, who, despite multiple requests, failed to provide any documentation or explanation to justify the $3,890 charge. Instead of resolving the matter professionally, she threatened to send the unsubstantiated debt to collections.

This is, in my opinion, highly unprofessional and unacceptable business conduct. We have since involved legal counsel to address the situation.

If you’re considering working with Busy Bee Advisors, proceed with caution. Make sure every service is clearly defined, dated, and documented to avoid similar disputes.

Busy Bee is literally the best. I’ve been with Eric and his team for about a year now, and the only “bad” thing I can say is that I wish I had engaged them earlier. Much earlier! Busy Bee provides expert, timely, personalized, proactive advice and services, and they are incredible advisors and people! I highly, highly recommend that you engage with them asap!

I would like to share my experience with Busy Bee Advisors.
I needed to find a new accountant after 10 years with my previous tax preparers. I'm semi retired and have several income streams, so it's a fairly complicated tax return. I was very impressed on how quickly and thorough they prepared my return. I was also filing married/jointly for the very first time and they were great at answering all my questions. And I was very pleased with the results, a lot less tax than I was expecting to pay. I can heartily recommend Busy Bee to anyone looking to reduce their taxes!
