After my dad’s passing my mom needed full time care. Social security doesn’t even cover half of memory care. I needed to apply for VA Benefits to help with the financial aspect for caring for an Alzheimer’s patient. Burgos and Brein helped with that. They walked me through the application process, help me gather all the necessary paperwork and documentation. Answered my endless questions via email and phone. They basically held my hand through the entire process. After 7 months I received a letter that my application (on behalf of my mom) was terminated. They helped me again with the appeal process, continued to help me put together documentation and paperwork. Then finally after 14 months of waiting, we were awarded the assistance. It was a long tedious and often frustrating process but I did not have to do it alone! The only thing that was off the mark was the application timeline. I was told three months, it took 14. This is the only thing they could have done better, but when it comes to the government, who can really tell how long anything will take. Would I recommend them, absolutely!!! But keep your expectations realistic when it comes to anything to do with the government.

Although this company may be helpful with VA assistance, they were grossly negligent in advising my husband and I to buy into an insurance policy that generated tens of thousands of dollars in tax penalties. Gabriel Burgos lied to us numerous times and has refused to acknowledge his dishonesty, leaving us to deal with the IRS and a whole life policy that we did not want. New clients, be wary of this company trying to sell you products that you don't need just to generate commission.
