I can not recommend Myia enough. When she came into my facility to help us we were really struggle. Days were getting denied or half of what they could be. Clinicians were blaming UR and UR blaming clinicians so communications always turned into arguments and the owners didn’t know who to believe.
She started with a whole new layout for clinicians so they could easily see what information needed to be in the weekly review.
Met with the UR team and help encourage us and be there for us to answer questions.
She would go through the chart explaining where the information needs to be expanded on to help get authorization.
She help give the UR team and me the confidence they needed in their job and not doubt themselves any more.
Now the clinicians and UR team communicate with ease and actually get along. Denials have gone way down and they days have got way better especially with the extremely difficult insurance.
If you are experiencing difficulty and not sure what to do and even where the problem start call her and she will come in and evaluate everything and be very honest. We saw the difference within a week.

I’ve seen first hand what Myia has done to improve the functionality of treatment facilities.

Her method teaches therapists the proper way to document for insurance companies and continuously demonstrate medical necessity.
