Aircraft Engineering is one of the top maintenance shops in the southeast and it is on the field. Great airport situated in an ideal location. Manned tower, highly skilled controllers and airport staff. I can personally attest to the professionalism and devotion to safe and expeditious service by the tower controllers.

Great fuel prices and an aircraft maintenance shop with an excellent reputation. The FBO is large, clean and has plenty of seating in the main lobby. There's even a museum inside the building which I highly recommend. Definitely stop through if you get the chance!

We were treated like royalty in our piston-plane!

29 Pilots gathered at 10am, for the 10:03 briefing by Skylane Steve!! Just can't get this airline out of the gate ON TIME!!!
Morning fog has plagued South Florida the past couple of days, but No fog in area this morning, easy pickings for our targets today. A few birds flying laps in the pattern.

The last three times I have come and filled up two different style 5 gallons worth of gas and it has been a gallon or a little more than a gallon short. Brought it to their attention twice. So make sure you check your gas cans. $4.45 adds up Overtime. So I’ve given up at least I know of $15 to the airport for free.. also, I was told that my gas cans could be off or my gas cans are swelling. I could accept a couple ounces but not 128+ ounces.

The airport is like a hidden gem. what a cool place and a piece of history it has. they have a little historical room dedicated to the artifacts that had ties to the old air base.

The staff was really nice and got to chat with the airport director Mr. John Helms, awesome, friendly & knowledgeable guy! I also got to chat with their Air Side Ops Manager, supper cool guy to chat with too!

Great things happening here! Excited to see what this team dose next!

An excellent small town airport with a manned tower which i really like vs the chaos that happens at Winter Haven sometimes. Their fbo is super friendly and has a nice little museum. I always fly there for the cheap gas from Kissimmee! Will be back there a ton in the future for more gas. I wish the restaurant was open again and had some sort of discount gas days to bring more people in.

I did not have any interaction in the airport, but I was on the grounds. It is actually an old Air Force Base no traffic within and we own a space within the Air Force Base that the company I worked for parks vehicles there.
