The apartments they manage are shady and deceiving people into applying by providing false information. I informed them of the behavior from the staff of the apartments and requested a return on my application, I was told by them that due to fair housing laws they could not return it but they could not provide the law that restricts them from doing so.. because it does not exist.

Management terrible. Do not handle issue of complaints when you have done it in writing, in person , audio, Leasing office has high turnover of staff. Property looks terrible of appearance . Go to rent office to have someone to witness your complaint favorite slogan “They don’t have time “ or I’m the only one in office . When your attitude go another way oh my behavior unacceptable. Well do your damn job. . Car wash in deplorable shape . All they do is lie . We talk to the residents well how many time you gonna talk . When y’all need to follow y’all rules. I guess working night shift and long hours . I guess I don’t get rest but y’all still want your rent. Been lied to every time different managment comes in. When the tenant has to come home to human feces in breezeway and the tenant using personal cleaning products to poor over to try and consume smell and to physically see it . Smelled it before I seen it. Also July 2 2024 they allowed pest control come in while in heavily medicated and not dress have and have not yet apologize . I call left them a. They are letting the Broxton Bay property go to ruin. They have no regard for the residents safety. They do not make the repairs necessary to keep the local vagrants out and they now roam at will through the property. Bike chains are cut and bikes stolen, packages constantly stolen. They treat the maintenance staff poorly and have constant turnover. They do not return calls.

This company is apaulling. I stayed at an apartment they are associated with and recevied a check for my security deposit. Unfortunetalty I wasnt able to cash it becuase it had been made out to myself and my fiance who passed away just beofre i received the check. The reason I was even getting it was beucase I had to urgently move out of the apartment becuase my fiance passed away and I had two children and couldnt afford the apartment on my own. Well after being told my the bank that i couldnt cash the check without my fiance being on the account I called American Management and explained i needed a new one issued. They assured me they would get right to it.... well they didnt and time passed and I admit I forgot about it for some time well 2 years. I do agree its a long time to forget about a check but when you have a 4 month old and a 2 year old and your bouncing around from family memeber to family memeber to get on your feet you forget a thing or two. so i called the company back to explain the situation and i was first told oh this has nothing to do with us because the aparment is under different management and we didnt issue the check. When I tell the gentleman well yes it is your company and you did issue me the check the conversation switched to oh well why did you wait two years its your fault. Honeslty had the company done what they said they were going to do in the first place when i first called which was reissue a check we wouldnt be having this conversation. Please tell me if im wrong for this or is it the fault of American Management Group. I would really like to know. Also, it isnt like the check was for 1,000 dollars the check is for $225 dollars, I mean what does that say about the company if they cant even reissue a $225 dollar check im just wondering. Again tell me if im in the wrong
