This review ONLY applies to the Skyland branch. I've never had ANY problems with any other branch.
DO NOT go through the drive through with anything more difficult than a simple single deposit or withdrawal. Anything more complicated, even as simple as cashing a small check, seems to be beyond the capabilities of the teller. Luckily, when she sent my driver's license to the wrong vehicle, that person was honest enough to return it to her so she could send it to me

Unbeknownst to me, my debit card got hacked. The fraud department automatically placed a hold on all purchases, contacted me via phone and email to notify me. Warey of scams, I went into the Skyland branch to talk to someone. Mekeia was so helpful! She communicated with the fraud department on my behalf, provided me with a new debit card and ensured it was working. She was friendly and professional. 10/10 recommend ⭐

I applied for a mortgage online with April Hughes on February 15, 2023. When I hadn't heard from her a week later, I called and left a voicemail. As of today, me May 1, 2023 I've still not received a follow-up. When I log into my application, there is no status update. I've since been in my new home over a month now but between this experience, my son's auto loan experience and the fact that it takes Zelle transfers a day, I've closed my accounts with them. HORRIBLE customer service.

I was in and out. April was pleasant and not judgmental ( I went on my lunch break) It was painless. We talked laughed and got started. She delivered information to me and let me know to always feel free to come in. The young lady at the front door had a smile and greeting that would make her a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader....... I'm so glad I chose them.

The WORST branch in Tuscaloosa. They NEVERRR have anyone working inside and the ones that are there don’t seem to want to be at work. The customer service is at an all time low

I’ve further thought about this review and decided that it would be more fair if I gave credit where credit is due. This location is good for getting in and out quickly. However it’s not ideal if you have any difficult situations.

When you call them they put you on hold and never get back with you after waiting for 35 min I give up. This might be a good credit union to go with as long as you don't need to call them.🙄
