I am so thankful for connecting with Lynn Bernstein as my career coach. At first I requested her help in preparing to interview for an executive level position. I loved working with her so much, I asked if we could continue our coaching even after the recruitment process. She has helped me to better balance my work and home life and to find the space to do activities now that give me joy and fulfillment, and not wait for someday in retirement. She has also helped me identify those areas that I can improve so that I am a better listener, mentor and leader within our organization. I never thought of hiring a career coach before, but I am so glad I did. I highly recommend Lynn.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with ignite your potential. It started with a consultation in which the owner (I believe) of the company assessed the type of help I was looking for and paired me with an expert coach. In the process I also found an amazing resume coach through this service (Leslie Ayres) who helped me produce a beautiful and engaging resume and I began to work with Lynne Bernstein, an extremely skilled coach. I hadn't interviewed for a job in 16 years, so was looking for assistance with interview prep. She asked great questions that guided me towards the thinking and confidence building I needed most. And I got the job! I plan to continue working with Lynne to tap into her expertise in leadership development.

Just a year ago, I began to want to make myself a "someone" in the niche that I have learned to love: Marketing and Industrial Research Development. It's a good fit for me and I believed I could be an asset, whatever company I went to. What I didn't understand at the time was that holding a leadership role in the company I was in would end up putting me through fire and ice. Eventually, I began doubting myself, my capacity, and my self-worth. After receiving a complaint from some of the staff under me, and having a boss who seemed to look at me, not as an ally, but as a competition... I began to feel powerless. The passion I once had, became a burden and I struggled to go to work each day. I began doubting my decisions, my actions, and the inner sense I usually have.
I thought I was a goner until I was referred by a friend to Dr. Campbell. She was my saving grace. At first, I was hesitant, to even have a free phone consultation with her, as I had never worked with a career coach or an executive coach before. But looking back, that was the best decision I was able to make while I was in the middle of my struggling mind and heart.

Every career coaching session with her brought me back to myself. Each day became bearable. Slowly, I saw where I shouldn't be blaming myself. Session by session, I regained the professional confidence I always had in myself. Together we created a strategic action plan for going forward. She made me see that vulnerability is not a weakness, instead, it' when you are honest with yourself about where you need to improve that you begin to change. High potential growing leaders also feel helplessness and overwhelm at times, but that should not stop me from becoming better. Thank you so much, Dr. Campbell, for getting me back on track.

It always feels great to see things in a different light and to be reminded that life is not only about downfalls or frustrations. It's about getting to know yourself better, making course corrections, and having a positive affect on the people around you.

As a person focused on her career, I had a habit of defining my worth through my work. Self worth was not something even thought about until I came to meet career coach Dr. Colleen Campbell.

She brought me through a process where I learned more about myself and what drives and motivates me. It began to see things in a new way. While the work was focused on career, she really is a talented life coach as well. I didn’t expect to develop more balance in my life but that’s what happened.

Sometimes, we just need to help ourselves and reach out to the right people who know exactly how to help others through exercises and new strategies to try. The professional approach that Dr. Campbell showed me, are tricks and tips I will always look back on, if I find myself lost in the challenges of work again.

Thank you Dr. Campbell for being such an inspiration!

After having gone through an abusive relationship which brought me to the point that I thought and I felt I was nothing. Nothing in my life felt okay. Nothing was going right. Rather than bad thoughts leaving me, instead, they kept on living in me.

It seems that the heaviness in my heart kept getting deeper and deeper. Waking up each day seemed like a burden. Every day felt like tons of rocks on my chest, and that no matter how I tried to shift my mind, I would always just see the past. The arguments, the tears, the physical pain, the struggle, and the loss. None of these were things I wanted to recall, but the thoughts kept chasing me. After a while, I began to just stay away from people because I could think of little else.

I started to lose appetite. Food seemed too hard to swallow and I never felt hungry. I wanted to just always stay in my room, sulk, stare at the window, sleep, and eventually cry. Crying was a hobby and the tears never ran out. Then one day, my daughter found me crying and convinced me to have myself checked because I already losing weight and getting pale.

My daughter cried when I told her I can't. I wanted to refuse and stay home but then she convinced me that seeing Dr. Campbell, a life coach, may help rebuild what remains in our family, or perhaps in my life.

Seeing Dr. Campbell was like a ray of hope that seemed to unburden my heavy emotions. She spoke with me, allowed me to express the thoughts that only went through in my head and made me see that the rocks that I felt on my chest can be taken off, one by one. She taught me how to see things in a different way. She taught me how to forgive myself for having forgotten how to love myself. She made me realize that my life is not just me and my thoughts and what I wanted to be removed. My life is how I take care of myself, my children, and our future. She taught me to yearn to better my self each day. She ignited the sense of trust in me. To trust myself again, and to trust the people in my life that I was not alone. She ignited self-love in me so that the heaviness I felt would slowly heal.

Now, I am back on my feet, I am no longer pale and the darkness in my room is now filled with laughter from my kids and myself. Thanks to Dr. Campbell and her life coaching, she gave me not only a ray of light but also the ray of hope for my life. She and her team are indeed people who can create change and make lives better. All you have to do is let them in. Thank you so much Dr. Colleen Campbell for igniting life in me.

Shannon was so helpful in guiding me to discover insights about myself and my career journey that I would not have found on my own. I have more direction now and realize what I need in a career moving forward and why other paths have left me feeling empty.
