They never pick up the phone so I figured coming in person would be faster. Was the only person sitting in the lobby to open a solo 401k since I have other accounts at Fidelity. After about an hour of waiting, alone in the lobby, I opened one at Vanguard on my phone in 10 minutes. Going to close my other accounts and move them elsewhere. I can't imagine how bad this company would be if I actually had an issue with one of my accounts.

Based on my experience, (virtual) staff not helpful and does not engage in customer issues.
Definitely not advisable for International clients, the support and service in practically non existent. (I'm a 20 yrs client)
Today's visit doors says "open", but just have a video camera and all they issue is the customer support phone number. Most other companies in bay area are stall and happy to provide client services.

I like Fidelity overall. Have generally had very good experiences with phone support from Fidelity. The experience with the branches in person has not been very good. This Campbell branch is an exception. Very friendly and helpful. Convenient location with easy parking.

I understand with the virus going on, but having to talk to large monitor when you enter the building is no way to be greeted! My mother needs some tax papers. The lady wanted to mail them. I asked her if she could just print them out since we drove there? She was hesitant, but she finally did. Not very professional.

They (851 Campbell Ave) never answer their phone!!! Be prepared to wait no less than 45 minutes on hold and then probably hang up out of frustration. Hey Fidelity, at least allow folks to leave a message and then call your customers "when you're not busy". Obviously you're not interested in doing more business because you're too busy with the business you have.

I went in to get help with a retirement account we have with Fidelity and instead of offering help with alternative suggestions on how to proceed the person working the counter told me she couldn't help me. I called the 800 number and was told just what to do. She said the counter person could have called them and they could tell them how to help me. I felt is was just given a quick answer to get me out the door.
