These weren't just my tax preparers, these were my friends. My experience was so painfully abysmal that I can't recommend either.
As far as I can tell, one has three options with very similar outcomes:
1) ignore the IRS completely
2) sit on a photocopy machine and fax the IRS a photo of your backside.
3) hire NetProfit to screw up your tax return, spend over a year trying to compel them to correct it, then ultimately end up fixing the issue with the tax man YOURSELF while wondering why the hell it couldn't be handled sooner. An error and omission from 2018 FINALLY resolved by me in 2023...
I don't typically go out of my way to leave a bad review, but I do when it might save someone else a lot of heartache. Caveat Emptor, as the saying goes.
When it's your money at stake, and when you feel ABSOLUTELY ignored, like the proverbial ostrich in the sand ignored, like passive-agressive ignored, that's a line crossed. In friendship AND in business!
