Mike and his company did a great job for our soft story building project. We interviewed 2 other engineers and decided to go with Mike. He explained every question we had thoroughly and make sure we understand. We didn't have to do a lot of extra work that is not required to reinforce the building and that saved us time and money.

Exceeded my expectations. Michael did a site visit within a week after initial call, got us drawings much sooner than we had expected, was very responsive to our questions even on a Friday night or weekend (most of the time he would respond within the hour). Cost was very reasonable. I wish he and his team could general contract my whole renovation.

Hom-Pisano is a great outfit! Responsive and thorough.
The principal engineer- Mr. Hom is not only intuitively knowledgeable, but can facilitate your projects to completion.
Prior commentarians dilute Hom-Pisano's deserved 5 star ratings and have no business posting here. (Sentimentally incorrect political bias that has nothing to do with either engineering or the need to post it elsewhere.)

Mike Hom is the best, as a GC builder I've worked with him and his team on many projects in the SF Bay Area over the years and I would never think to go anywhere else.
