I first met Bill and Jeff at Alliant back around 2010 when I was considering a business purchase. I found them to be both knowledgeable and patient walking me through the process of a complicated business purchase. I looked at many businesses and settled on one that fell through at the last minute with no fault other than the seller who got cold feet. (That ended up being a blessing I suppose.)

Two years later, I came back and met with Jeff again and told him I was willing to re-pursue other listings and he helped guide me into a business that was a great fit for my personality and financial temperament. I closed on this business and both the buyer (me) and seller were happy with how the transaction was conducted.

To this day I consider Alliant a trusted advisor. I would encourage anyone to seriously evaluate their professionalism and type of deals they get as a testament to their success. What I mean is there are others that sell businesses and many of them list businesses that have no real value to them or have some ridiculous multiple to EBITDA that has no chance of closing upon deeper due diligence- Alliant is not in this category. I think they are realistic about what value a company will bring based on a hard look at company metrics.

I would think a seller or buyer is making an error in judgement if he or she is not willing to at least interview the principals at Alliant and see how they can represent you as a buyer or seller. I will continue to use them and whole heartedly endorse them.
