I was recently laid off and looking for my next career path. After putting effort into the regular actions, such as updating my resume, posting my availability on LinkedIn and various other sites, and reviewing countless job postings, I decided I needed some help and guidance. That is when I contacted Laurel Marshall at Be Inspired! Coaching & Consulting. Laurel’s background as a successful Human Resources Executive for multiple large corporations lends her ‘inside knowledge’ credence, but it was her ability to connect personally that really helped me the most during my career search. Laurel provided the framework for the ‘whole’ process of searching for my next job through her adept ability to listen intently and provide feedback through questions, examples, and technical points. Like any good coach, she kept me focused on the task at hand, but did not do any of the work for me. At the same time, she emphasized that taking a break is important, and that having fun is part of the career search process. The result is that I found my next career path. It is important to note that I did not just accept the next job that came along; through Laurel’s coaching and guidance I was able to discover what mattered to me in a career, and search out and accept the career that best aligned with my goals. If you find yourself in need of some professional direction, with just the right amount of personal discovery, I would highly recommend Laurel’s services at Be Inspired! Coaching & Consulting. I have been fortunate to consider Laurel a coach and a mentor for several years, both informally and by completing a full 6-month coaching program. I was gobsmacked at the end results of the coaching with BeInspired! After Session 1 of definition, I self-propelled into discovery which was easy as it's an organic process. Yes, I got stuck in areas, but Laurel's natural gift of coaching guided me in unexpected ways. Surpassing what I wanted to discover, I found deep life changing clarity.
